I had to schedule an urgent doc visit and to my luck she was available. We joked and she helped me so much. If you get the luck to have her as your doctor youre in great hands. Im so happy the board gave someone like her her license. She uses it with professionalism and expertise

I had to see this doctor because my PCP was not available until late October. As she walked in, she just had this bad aura. She was not kind or friendly at all. She asked me questions about why I didnt see my doctor and how and when I made this appointment. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Why do those things matter? Just do what you have to do period.Then she went on to ask me why I havent got my Tetanus/whooping cough shot. I said I didnt want it. Then she asked me the billion dollar question, if I was vaccinated with the covid vaccine. I said no. And she started to attack me. "What is it with people not getting vaccinated. People are dying." What is it to her what I decide to do with my life and body? She has no right to say anything. I just told her with kindness, "everyone has different opinions."She walked out and didnt return. She sent her nurse.Horrible experience with her. I feel discriminated. Never do I want to see that doctor again. I will be praying for her.

Why don’t the primary care doctors (including Dr. Wilson) recommend dermatologist visits. I had a lump on my head that she shrugged off. It was growing so fast that I finally saw a dermatologist, and they found Nodular Melanoma Clark’s IV. My chances of recovery are slim.

Doctor Lou Ellen Wilson is fair, very wise Doctor, and maybe too wise at some point ... I would say, the day depends on the workload full of sickly unwell & possibly very extremely moody people who knows ... The timing maybe brighten up a bit from the friendly staff willing to hear you - make it your day to chat nicely with the medical staff - smile and inside joke helps a lot..Still thankful for the tough love ...

She is a very busy Doctor so I also keep simple focus on my own health and my goal(s) on my appt visit day... but time is also always hectic on a day off to take my necessary appt follow up visit and problem focus to plan of what works on my individual health problems as every person is unique and different in many ways.....I just have so much patience and understanding as I have been one in that medical office clinic type of environment long time ago.... "TIME" changes ..I just honestly focus on what to do next and humbly just ask to help.

Simple. Keeps you focus on your self goals. For some not looking directly in the eyes is a sign of giving a moment space and is also a way for you to have the time to take in what is really happening to your health problems. I respect her as she does respect your concerns personally as every person as a patient(s) of hers are all unique in many ways so taking the time to not judge a person by staring in the eyes is more common to really see the panoramic view of what is happening to human system
