Wrong doctor I was looking for the eye specialist ................................
Dr Daniel Su is quite possible one of the worst Doctors I have ever encountered. He lies, is unprofessional and is horrible to his patients. Go to a good Doctor who knows what he is doing.
Dr Su is experimenting on patients that are very sick and vulnerable. I am sure none are aware because they are so sick. You are Not Safe here!!
Dr. Su was so confident and reassuring before my procedure. He performed my Partial Nephrectomy in February 2019 and it was almost painless. His follow up care has been excellent and he always listens and explains his reply so it is easily understood.
Very bad , he doesn’t know what is he doing . I don’t recommend .
Dr. Su performed my Partial Nephrectomy, one week ago. Afterwards, my maximum pain level was 3 out of 10. By the 2nd morning after surgery, I was only taking an Aleve morning and night. All of this went much much easier than I anticipated. I highly recommend him as a Surgeon, as do all the medical professionals I talked to before the operation. Amazing job by him. Superstar.
I would not recommend Dr Su for a trash man even he for sure is a horrible DOCTORI had an untreated UTI and he made it even worse. He has anger issues and does not give patients any attention. He and his entire office are poor versions of an HMO. Only worrying about $$$ over patients! The main danger associated with untreated UTIs is that the infection may spread from the bladder to one or both kidneys. When bacteria attack the kidneys, they can cause damage that will permanently reduce kidney function. They are suppose to help people not cause further damage

Dr. Su is kind and thorough in his explanations. I was an odd case and he was gentle yet aggressive in his interrogation of trying to figure out how I injured my bladder the way I did. I truly appreciated it, it showed me he really cared and worried for my safety. My surgery was thorough and successful and I am healing well. The intense pain I was in prior is now a distant memory.

I highly recommend Dr Su. I was referred by another urologist to Dr Su in Jan 2020 after discovering I had a significant sized kidney stone (2.7cm). This was too big to pass and required surgery to remove. During my first meeting with Dr Su, I found him to be very knowledgable and patient. He took time to explain the Xray and CT scan results, explained the procedure primarily used to treat this size of stone and explained to me his experience with this surgery (PCNL). He answered all of the questions my wife and I had. He even let me know which other urologists in the area (very few) who also did this type of procedure should I want a second opinion. I decided to schedule the surgery with him at Hoag Irvine (he also does this procedure at Saddleback Memorial). My surgery was on June 2. He was very calm on the morning of the surgery and answered all my final questions. He also was great during his visits to me while I was hospitalized after surgery. It went very successfully and exactly as he had told me about, including recovery time. 3 weeks later, I feel great and have been given a clean bill of health. I highly recommend Dr Su! <br>*Only challenge is that it is difficult to contact OC urology group. You'll have to wait a long time to get through for anything including scheduling first appointment. Disappointing, but worth the wait.

Dr. Su was so confident and reassuring before my procedure. He assured me that if the procedure was not possible, due to my prior adhesions, that he would not proceed. The procedure was a success. I have seen three physicians at OC Urology and each one has been knowledge and proficient in their sub-specialties. I work in the medical field and I understand that sometimes a poor outcome is blamed on the physician when the patient’s unique situation may be the cause. I have the utmost confidence in OC Urology and highly recommend them.
Dr. Su is very professional, knowledgeable and carring. He was very thorough in his treatment and diagnosis. His after surgery care was excellent. I strongly recommend him.

Worst Doctor Ever! Does not return phone calls AND does not listen to your concerns. Does nothing himself and passes everything on to incompetent people. Good luck trying to get a straight answer from anyone in this office.
No follow up...no call back. Sitting with a tube coming out of my Kidney and it is stopped up. Two days and told Dr. Su is out of the office. I told Hoag Irvine I did not want this doctor but they gave him to me anyway! Is there no other Urologists out there to help with my situation other than going back to the ER and waiting for god knows how long?
