Rude and arrogant. He should be a vet for animals. He dismissed me after no exam or any questions, just told me to double the dosage of my current medicine, and walked out.
Dr Kim must be one of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered. Besides his extremely poor and abrupt bedside manner, he is lazy, negligent, arrogant, and adds no value to potentially life threatening situations. He did not even bother to look at scans to offer his “expert” perspective. He also contradicted himself because there was no fact based judgment - since he never bothered to look at the facts. My advice - save your time, money, and life and avoid Dr Kim.
Arrogant and rude. Guy fits a pawn shop owner. Waited an hour and seen by 2 of his assistants who were more professional and helpful.
Dr. Kim and his staff are sincerely the best. I am grateful to have Dr. Kim as my urologist. I won't put my health issues on here but just know that if he is a wonderful experienced urologist that I highly recommend.
tried to call his office but never answered. He didn't explain in details and wrote description in a second but i waited for this for two hours. Their system is very bad
In a nutshell, this doctor is arrogant and does not care about his patients. I'm not going to waste my time writing further.
In General Dr Kim doesn’t look like he cares too much, he looks at the blood work result and sent you home My annual visit with him was in Nov-2021, and since my PSA was elevated I request a MRI to find out if I have Prostate cancer or not, he agreed. Staff told me they will get Authorization for MRI and call me in 2 day to schedule the MRI, after a week of waiting I called them, it too 5 calls and 3 days of run around to finally get the Authorization, So MRI was done on DEC-17-2021 On my follow up visit on DEC-21-2021, I was asked again for ID and insurance, which I provided, Then I was asked to fill out the 9 pages of personal Info again for year 2021, I told the receptionist that I already filled the paper work on my NOV visit, So she told me to wait, My appointment was at 4:30 and I had arrived 10 minutes early, as I waited she send in 2 other patients that arrived after me and talked to 2 other outgoing patients, After 40 minutes of waiting I asked why I was not sent in, She replied that I had to fill the paperwork before going in, then I asked to give the result of my MRI test I want to know if I have cancer or Not she refused and said Unless I fill the stupid paper work she won’t do it. The fat Pig receptionist was vindictive, mean and uncaring. This place is a butcher shop which only care about the insurance money not their patients
Dr Kim has has recently been denigrated by low information patients who are unfairly vandictive. He can cure the sick but he can't raise the dead. I have been under his care for years and I am entirely satisfied.
I had stage 7 prostate cancer I saw Dr Kim for my evaluation and only after a few minutes I knew I came to the right place. I had my prostate removed on Nov 18th and was home the same day. The surgery went very smoothly and Ive had no problems not even being nauseous after 4 hours of surgery. It was an amazing experience for me because I usually am sick for a day or two afterwards. The first 2 days after the surgery I was sore but by day 3 a remarkable difference in pain around the incision area. By day 6 the pain was mostly gone and the catheter was removed with no discomfort. His technique allows me to be healed enough to walk and drive and return to a lot of my activities in 6 days after surgery the man is a genius. If you have to have prostate surgery do yourself a favor and see him. To be honest I had great apprehension about this surgery but so far so good no problems and I only had one incision instead of 4 which greatly helped in the recovery time. Thank you Dr Kim for giving me a great life after surgery.

Dr Kim did 2 laser surgeries to fix my enlarged prostate problems. Before the surgeries, I had to go to the bathroom every 3 hours. After the 1st surgery, I had to go every 2 hours. Then every hour after the 2nd surgery. My problem got worse after each surgery. I ended up going to another urologist.
Dr Kim is a very inconsiderate person and negligent doctor. He IGNORES you when you are at the hospital and he is on call. Doesn't "on call" mean that you are supposed to come in if needed? Nope. No one can get ahold of this guy, he ignores your call and has you wait in the hospital for days. I'm not sure why Mission hospitals has him as practically their only urologist on staff it seems because they should replace him with someone who is worth a damn or actually will deign to show up. The medical industry forgets that patients are also paying customers and deserve care in a timely fashion especially when it's something severe. After all, were the ones paying to be here so time is money. Get it together, Dr Kim, your personal time is NOT more important than mine.

Dr Kim told my husband he had prostate CANCER on his 1st visit and had to have prostate removed! Well now after 2nd visit Dr Kim says let wait and see in a month if the UTI clears up and recheck your PSA. Really ⁉️Throws the “C” bomb at him when in fact it may not even be CANCER❗️❗️Come on doc good bedside manner may not be your forte but don’t flipping throw the cancer word at your patients so casually!
