Told my daughter at 15 that she was a ticking time bomb due to her avm and go try and live ur life and dont have kids. That about killed her and she went into a major depression for a long time and partied and drugs and all. Thank God for a second opnion and well.. many years later I am happy to report that she had 2 children that are perfect and shes doing well.

Dr. Nwagwu left me 30% permanently paralyzed on my right arm. He performed C Spine surgery on me in 2016. He refused to help me get permanent disability. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone in the world!! He offers no follow up to check on me. Instead he fled California.

Dr. Nwagwu performed C-spine surgery on me in 2016. He left my right arm 30% permanently paralyzed. He has not offered any follow up appointments to help me in anyway. I would not recommend this doctor/neurosurgeon to anyone in the world!

I consider him best of the best among neurosurgeons! I'm glad I was referred to him for my left frontal meningioma, and later for my cervical spine surgery. I was having very serious problems caused by the meningioma where short seizures were coming on every half hour. I had trouble walking, and I was losing my speech. Dr Nwagwu performed the surgery and all that problem went away. It's going on two years now, and there is no sign of it coming back. A year later I had to have three of my cervical spine fused. It was getting to a point where I was having constant headaches, and toward the end, started to get brain fog - it was getting very scary. I did not hesitate to pick Dr Nwagwu as my surgeon for this procedure as well. He did an excellent job of performing the six hour surgery. One location was very hard to get to because of the unfavorable access, but he did not give up until he accomplished what he wanted to for a successful outcome. He is that kind of a doctor.

I can not say enough good things about Dr Nwagwu. Words cannot express what a wonderful man and Doctor he is. The comfort I receive from just being in his presence is enough, not to mention his caring attitude, his obvious knowledge and his wonderful work. He placed stents in an carotid aneurysm for me. I had complications, not due to his work. While I was in the hospital many doctors looked after me. One, my daughters referred to as Doctor Doom. Another that seemed to look down on me and always left me with a cold feeling. But then Dr. Nwagwu would come in and instantly I felt relaxed and cared for. He explains things in a way that can be understood by those of us without medical knowledge. During visits to his office he takes his time and I never felt rushed. His assistant Koran was also wonderful. I definitely feel blessed that I was referred to him. In a time of turbulence for me, he brought the calm.
