Dr. Salcido is an incredible find. He is a caring physician who listens and genuinely cares about his patients. I have been very satisfied with him for my gynecological as well as obstetrical care over the years.

After interviewing multiple OBGYN doctors for my first pregnancy (at age 43) Dr. Salcido was hands down the one I was most confident with my and my soon to be baby’s care. He was supportive of my choice of natural birth and I never felt pressured to do XYZ items that doctors are legally obligated to talk about. He would preface those aspects, explain pros and cons and supportive with my decision. The staff was friendly at every visit (there were a lot: especially going over term and having extra fetal monitoring). Knowing I did not want induction he and gave me exercises to continue to help start labor and gave me a little “nudge” at our last visit. During birth he was vocal with all going on, encouraging, hands on and sewed me up like a pro without scaring me that anything was wrong. I had some complications & He visited the next day to make sure I was okay and has been a truly caring doctor with my postpartum recovery. I highly recommend!!!!

Dr Salcido is extremely professional and truly cares about his patients. He listens to my concerns and answer every question I had. He never rushed when giving me an answer. He delivered 3 out of 4 kids. Too bad I didn't know him with my first child.

I saw Dr. Salcido because I had a large uterine fibroid, (think cantaloupe). He is just the best! He took me through my options, taking great care to explain every detail. With his help I decided to have a hysterectomy (keeping my ovaries). I had never had surgery so I was nervous. In his bio is this sentence: “My philosophy is to provide personalized care with the same commitment and compassion that I would give to my own family." That is absolutely true. I'm 3 weeks post, and I feel great!

Chart scanning wasn't done on time. He forgot he referred me to a specialist. He forgot that he has put me on disability. He forgot I was bleeding! Worst of all... I call and never got a call back from him. It's his medical assistant that will talk to you. My friend referred me. Now 22weeks pregnant with Baby 3. I have to transfer my care. My previous OB retired his OB practice. I had to call him to get a referral. I tried making the specialist that he sent me to my primary because he already has my records but he refused because his office states he has a good working relationship with Dr.Salcido. My pregnancy is complicated. The last two visits... I was just seen in his office. Not even on the exam table. I feel like a number. He doesn't know me. His plate is too full.
