It is Outstanding to have a strong communicator helping with my Knee issues.Understanding my options and clearing out the clutter and noise. Thanks for your time and attention.
Dr. Duggan was extremely knowledgable about my particular issue (rotator cuff) and took plenty of time with me and my husband to go over the various options available to me. He knew I was coming for a 2nd opinion and gave me the same level of courtesy. In Addison, Dr. Duggan could not have been nicer. Im going the conservative route for now but if I need surgery, Im pretty sure where Ill go...... I could not be more thankful for this referral from Dr. Max Biessman, DPT.
I met with Dr. Duggan 1.5 weeks before a golf trip to play Pebble Beach and Spyglass. Since 2012, I have had many periods of time with a lot of pain on the outside of both elbows. This makes it impossible to swing a golf club but I couldnt pass on a onceinalifetime trip to play Pebble Beach. I visited Dr. Duggan for some help. Both he and his staff were very cordial, personable and pleasant to work with. He did an assessment and, after determining the issue, provided treatment. He gave me some stretching recommendations and told me to completely rest until warmups before our teetime. When all was said and done, I played Spyglass on Sunday followed by Pebble Beach on Monday completely pain free. I also witnessed my brother get a holeinone on Pebble Beachs iconic hole #7 (videos are posted online). Most importantly, I was able to play Spyglass with my dad whos health is ailing. This will likely be the last time my dad gets to complete 18 holes of golf with his 4 boys.Dr. Duggan, thank you so much for helping me out in such a short period of time. This trip will always go down in the books as the best golf trip ever.
I have had multiple rotator cuff and meniscus surgeries from Daniel Duggan. My last surgeon had told me that another torn rotator cuff would not even be possible. However, Duggan was able to complete a full revision even though he only frayed edges to work with. Duggan has my future business and I highly recommend him.
Arrived for my appt. and actually was seen early. The front office staff was very nice and Dr. Duggan spent plenty of time with me explaining my problem and what my options were. He gave options that were nonsurgical, which was great and I will follow up with him as needed. Very happy with how things went
Called Lori of Dr. Duggans office due to foot injury. Called many other offices but Lory was exceptionally professional. She was kind to take down details of my foot injury, discussed with the doctor and got back to me in most proactive, prompt, honest and professional manner. Based on highest ratings by other patients, I was hoping Dr. Duggan can take care of all my medical needs. However, Dr. Duggan was upfront honest about not able to perform my foot Achilles surgery (not certain at this time, was told by EM doctors I may may not needed) although he can perform cast for foot fracture.I called so many Ortho Surgeon and not too many performs foot surgery. Im sure Dr. Duggan is excellent surgeon in other body parts. So I did not get to see Dr. Duggan(since I had to go with foot speciallist who can perform both cast and surgery), but I can rate Dr. Duggans assistant Lori. She is exceptionally kind, professional, knowledgeble, emphasatic, and truly a good person. Lori is excellent representation (and reflection of Dr Duggan just as good and excellent) of what I or anyone can expect the utmost professional medical services from Dr. Duggans office. Thank you both. I highly recommend with 10 .
Best orthopedic surgeon around!I wanted to get my surgery before the end of 2019 due to insurance, the administrative staff were so on it. Anything I needed or any questions I had was answered immediately. I never waited when i came into the office. Everyone is really friendly. Dr. Duggan answered every question and concern I had in detail. He has terrific bedside manner. My surgery went fantastic and he called and checked on me after the procedure. If youre looking for an orthopedic surgeon look no farther, Dr. Duggan and his staff are amazing!
I saw Dr Duggan yesterday thinking I was in need of a surgery to correct the osteoarthritis in my right knee. He reviewed some xrays that I brought and suggested a daily dose of Advil or a cortisone shot which would help for a four to six month timeframe. I opted for the shot which he said would take about 35 days to take effect. Three to five hours I could notice a significant improvement. The following morning I could walk down stairs at home without pain and with confidence that I wouldnt fall.He saved me the expense and inconvenience of surgery and resolved my problem. Dr Duggan has a new and very happy patient.
Dr. Duggan did an excellent job treating my tennis elbow. I highly recommend him and his office if you have any sports injuries.
Going off other Yelp reviews. Called around noon 6/20/19, needed to make an appointment, luckily someone cancelled the 1400hrs(2:00pm) slot. Every other clinic was 710 days out. Had everything ready for a quick check in, saw Dr. Duggan. We went over a few stretches, determined an Xray would be a better start than an MRI. I went in because my knee twisted and has been sore, stiff with minimal swelling, and walk like a zombie for past 3 days. The lobby was nice, as its part of a large medical building. Plenty of parking and the office is to the right of the main doors. A follow up will be done after I get back my Xrays. But so far I agree with the 45 star reviews 7102019.. From 5 stars to 1. The 5 stars would be for the girls upfront who will do whatever it takes, The 1 star review is for Dr. Duggan who in NOT an MD. Pretty much after my Xrays came back and was not notified to come back in to discuss them, I was still in pain. Was told ibuprofen would be enough and to ice it. The End, no PT, no knee brace, no crutches.. nothing!I finally had enough as my Aflac agent said I was cleared for work. What??? I workin the oilfield in ND, not Door greater at Walmart. My job requires me to walk all day, bend down, climb, sit for long periods of time, and lift heavy ALL DAY/NIGHT, there is no such office position. Pretty much came down to, a liability issue because he doesnt want to lose his license. Since when does a medical professional worry about his well being, before mine? Dr.Duggan isnt looking out for my best interest, if I did go back to work and I did such an office job, and I slipped on oily surface, the snow/ice or climbing stairs and my knee goes from a stretched MCL to a Tear? Then what...? Oh and he changed his tune about the MRI, stating he was never against getting one, even though was told it would be a waste of $$$ when an Xray will confirm it. WowJust an FYI.. This is my issue with Dr.Duggan, if you do choose to see him, dont be surprised that like me making an appointment with another orthopedic for a second opinion. As its been 3 weeks now and my knee is improving but only because I had to beg for PT and I bought my own knee brace. The knee brace company that the office reached out to have me get fitted for my knee brace, dropped the ball, never called me or attempted to get a hold of me reason was they were having a difficult time with my Aetna insurance, therefore they didnt feel the need to call, and when the office learned of this, nothing else was suggested or done ab

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
