EDIT: My mom FINALLY received a call back. She told me, between coughing spasms, that this doctor is a good doctor. I had to clarify that a good doctor surrounds himself with an efficient and caring staff. Maybe this is where Dr. Gomez needs to start to improve. ORIGINAL POST (was a 1-star): Neither this doctor nor his staff cares about patients. Over one week ago, he prescribed an inhaler for my mom who has a chronic cough and difficulty breathing. My 83-year-old mother contacted the pharmacy for two days to see if the prescription had been called in. It had not. She has called the office and left messages several times and NO response. THIS IS UNCONSCIONABLE. I tried to call, but the number online is not a direct line. READ THIS REVIEW AND GET BACK TO MY MOM. When she gets her medication, I will take this review down. We will be looking for a competent physician in the meantime.

Dr. Gomez has a wonderful bedside manner. He is thorough, thoughtful, and understanding. I'm glad he's my lung doctor. He also orders tests as needed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
