Herbert Eidt's Online Review Report Card

Ive had successful experiences. I had microfracturing of Left knee in 2018, I was told, going in, that Recovery would be 5 weeks no load bearing, I followed instructions and my knee has been great. I had an arthroscopy of my right knee recently 1-26-22, Dr. Eidt was able to clean out my knee joint, removed EIGHT pieces of bone chips and cartilage. My meniscus was too torn to repair, so he trimmed it. He said I didn’t need a knee replacement yet. In 2 days I was walking without crutches, only because I thought I was supposed to use crutches. After 2 weeks now my knee is awesome. I'm 60 and have a lot of arthritis, and a lot of experience, hip replacement, total shoulder replacement, an ACL repair and other stuff. I've learned that MRIs and Xrays are not perfect and cannot see everything. Doctors are human and medicine is not an exact science. Ya make the best "call" you can. I think most people have unrealistic expectations. But, Dr. Eidt has been great for me.

Dr Eidt has worked on my wife’s and daughters knees. He is always thorough in his explanations. He answers all questions patiently. My wife’s knee is awesome. My daughters knee continues to heal daily. Thank You Dr Eidt and Staff!

Went to him after injuring my knee, he met with me for about 4 mins, and said I needed ACL surgery within 3 weeks. We are in the middle of a pandemic so I decided before that invasive of a surgery with a long recovery to get a second opinion. Two doctors later and 6 weeks of PT I am back to my active life with no surgery needed. Do not jump quickly into surgery due to this doctor, he works for the surgery center and PT center with his practice. Always get a second opinion.

I visited Dr. Eidt and he was very distracted during my consultation and didn't listen to my actual issue. He never touched my back to determine what I was trying to describe. He unnecessarily sent me to Physical Therapy. (I later learned that I have a large Limpoma near my spine that he never detected.)

Dr. eidt suggested I get a new knee installed after only one cortisone shot he administered worked well but wore off quickly. That diagnosis scared me so I went to 2 other doctors for a second and third opinion who both said I did not need a 'new' knee at all and both were very surprised at dr. Eidt's diagnosis. I am doing fine with just a second cortisone shot 2 months later administered by a new doctor.

Dr Eidt help two of our daughters with sports injuries - one of which required surgery. He knows his stuff and takes time to make sure everything heals properly. His office is busy so there is wait time but just the typical wait. Would definitely recommend him!!!

Great doctor. Great staff. Dr. Eidt takes the time to listen and help. Very experienced physician.

Best of the best. Hands down. I placed my 85 year old mother in his hands. She had broken her arm and things were not good at all. He is compassionate, communicative and is very objective. I cannot speak well enough about this man and his ability. On a side note. Should you choose him to be your Dr, know that the scheduler whos name is Asuni is awesome. Talk about someone who has a VERY CHALLENGING job and goes the extra mile to help. He is the one that does. No matter what, no matter how slammed, (and he gets slammed), Asuni always takes time to make sure patients are taken care of.

He pushed Physical Therapy when we insisted Physical Therapy had already been tried over a long course of time. Asked repeatedly for an MRI and he was very insistent that it was not necessary even though my husband has been suffering for over 10 years with the same problem (physical therapy attempted multiple times) Over 10 years of debilitating pain and desperate for more conclusive testing and he sent us away and told us to come back in 2 more months after yet another round Physical Therapy!?
