Waited 2 hours to be seen. Yes, you read right it literally passed even more than 2 hours after our appointment time even though we came 15 before the appointment. Such a terrible experience. Nobody tells nothing, if your time is valuable do not come to this office.
If I could give my experience with Dr Leavitt and this group zero stars I would. After arriving on time, I waited for TWO HOURS to be seen. I asked the staff several times if they had any idea when I could be seen as I had other things to do. They could not tell me why there was a hold up or when I would be seen. I was shuffled around and finally saw the doctor two and a half hours later. Dr Leavitt couldnt have cared less that I waited and looked genuinely shocked that I told her she should alert her patients so they are not waiting. She acted like her surgery running two hours late should have affected my entire day. I asked why she didn't have the front staff just call her patients, and she said there must have been a miscommunication. It was very clear that the patients are not to be respected, god forbid. I will not be returning.
Dr. Leavitt is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. I had a different doctor prior to her with my first/pandemic pregnancy and when I switched to her I was surprised by how much care and concern went into not only my baby's comfort and well-being but also my own. As a gynecologist she makes me feel comfortable even in typically uncomfortable procedures and as an OB for my pregnancies she is always taking measures to make sure baby and I are okay. This is my second pregnancy with her as my doctor and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else!
Dr. Jamie Leavitt was great with me during my pregnancy. I felt at ease with her and she really cared. My son was born premature and it was unexpected, she was very attentive and I she checked in with me many times during my hospital bedrest. My son was actually delivered on her one day off and I was so happy to have her there. This was in 2019 and I still think about it. My son is happy and doing amazing.
She is great at listening and communication she is gentle and takes her time. She answered all of my questions and concerns with kindness and respect.
Terrible experience with this OB, this office, and the providence medical group. Theres nothing worse than going through a pregnancy or having a baby with a doctor that makes you feel like they couldn't care less about you. The office was so busy during the pandemic that I wan't allowed to switch doctors so I stayed optimistic but was continuously let down and gaslighted. The day after delivery I had some problems and it was nearly impossible to get her to come in and help me. I was also told genetic testing would cost me $500 and I later received a bill for $3200. I was pregnant and having panic attacks being blindsided by this huge difference in billing amount, she assured me their office would take care of the error and it has now been a year to date of their office ignoring my calls needing help to get this clerical error on their part sorted out. The most negative part about my entire pregnancy and birth experience was this doctor.

The desk staff is nice and the office is clean and neat. The software system they use to communicate medical records is really handy and clear. My main issue with my visits to Dr. Markus' office is that the medical assistants were kinda rude and seemed rushed. Only in this office have I ever had both my arms carved out trying to get blood drawn. On top of it all, Dr. Markus herself was rushed and seemed frustrated that I didn't understand a diagnosis she was giving me. I left the office feeling more at a loss than going in. I understand doctors don't have all the answers, but I expected her to at least make an effort to explain what is going on with my body. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new doc.
I switched doctors and went with Dr.Markus as my OB. She was thoughtful and caring towards me. She answered all of my questions as a first time mom. During my labor she delivered my daughter safely and took care of me by stitching me up.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
