List of Jan Lukac's Reviews
Interesting. I have a feeling they did not sanitize between patients. I think he washed his hands before I came in but after he handled the machine, tooks notes, turned the lights on/off, he asked if he could touch my eyes. I had to ask him to wash hands again! Seemed careless with the cotton swap that he used on my eye. He seemed annoyed that he was there. Office staff did not even greet me when I walked in. Definitely do not have much confidence in the diagnosis he gave me. Seemed like he was making stuff up. Will not be going back.
We have been going to Dr. Lukas for years. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of the eye. Helped save my vision after a high blood pressure stroke.
This is the worst office we have been in in over 50 years. The office staff is rude, unprofessional, makes snide remarks & makes you feel unwelcome. Teresa sits there in street clothes with her boobs hanging out & looks like trash. Terry who makes appointments & insurance approvals is also very rude. When Dr. Lukac takes our charts to Terry and tells her He wants to see us, she makes an appointment with an optometrist. Terry has done this 3 times. We need to see an ophthalmologist because we have serious eye problems. The office manager, Myrna, is rude with both patients and insurance company (as they related to us). She comes to work with shocking pink hair; there is no dress code. Myrna, Susie, Teresa (including the doctors wife) are stupid about insurance or insurance coverage. 2 other doctors offices, who deal with Dr. Lukac's office told us that Dr. Lukac's staff are rude & don't know what they are doing. Mrs Lukac has no clue what goes on while working there
I would highly recommend everyone to avoid this practice. The front desk has no idea of what they are doing and lack of communication with patients is beyond comprehension. The optician at this practice is only available Thursdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and she does not care about the quality of prescription glasses and she is extremely rude.
I went to this doctor after visiting my family doctor for an eye infection. He charged me an arm and a leg and gave me medicine that did not help at all. He informed me I could call if it wasn't helping so he could adjust. When I called to let the office know they asked me to go in. I literally was there for 3 minutes to just discuss the medication that wasn't working, and the doctor told me to just ...
HE IS VERRY GOOD DOCTOR HE HELPED ME A LOT WITH MY EYE PROBLEME VERRY NICE DOCTOR.
My mom and grandma have been to Dr. Lukac for years. He was both caring and compassionate. I am also a physician. I think he is very thorough, knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He is trustworthy and We highly recommend him.
I am with this office more than 4 years now. So far it is fine with my eye care related works. The staff is flexible for make an appointment for me. The waiting time is short as long as you show up on time. The doctor seems to be knowing what he is doing to help his patients based on his experience and expertise. He reviewed the test results with the patients and answer all eye care related questions.
He is fine
I made an appointment to see Dr. Lukac Because I have AMD. Also he is a very good Opthalmologist. And ended up seeing a Optometrist in his office therefore she couldn't perform a complet exam.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
