Very helpful staff, always return emails, doctor was very professional and educated. Did a great job on my ACL/ meniscus surgery.

Had two hip replacements with Dr. Dobyns and it could not have gone any better. He was straight up with me on everything. I am so grateful to have such a brilliant surgeon at this difficult time in my life.

I asked Dr Dobyns a question about my medical records and wrote in my medical records “questionable secondary gain, he asks about documenting things”. Do not Trust this doctor.

This guy needs to retire! He is flakey! Cannot keep to his commitments. I met with him. Told me one thing did another. Scheduled a zoom meeting and missed it, never called. I set up for meeting was out of town and he would not even talk with me on phone the hour later after HE missed the meeting. No excuse for it, no phone call to say he could not make his scheduled time. Does not care about his patients and it shows by his lack of consideration. Steer clear of this clown. Should not even be allowed to do business.

The man was extremely rude. I tried to ask him if he had treated a patient my age and he responded with “that question has no meaning to me”. I explained that I asked that because I know that it’s unusual for a 42 year old to do come in with hip problems as severe as mine. It affects your quality of life in a way that is unexpected. He again repeated that the question has no meaning for him and that he had treated teenagers. He made it obvious that he didn’t appreciate someone’s right to ask a doctor questions and that he didn’t care about what I had just told him. I had been told that I needed a hip replacement by another doctor and I had prepared myself for it. I told him that I was okay with a hip replacement He said that he didn’t ask what I was okay with. I had to keep pressing him on it and all he would say is that it wasn’t a good idea because they have to eventually be replaced. There was no respectful discussion which I would have gladly partaken in. I have never met a doctor who is less interested in a patient’s wishes and questions. I walked out of the appointment even though he wanted to do further X-rays. He talked about a surgery to put the ball back in the socket even though I had severe pain before the ball was dislocated. I also have severe degeneration, tears, and trauma. The fact that he was so dismissive of my desire to have a hip replacement is appalling. The man should not be a doctor.

Dr. Dobyn’s did my arthroscopic knee surgery. For the first time in three years I am able to run without pain.

He was extremely rude. I have been told by another doctor that I need hip replacement surgery. I told Dr Dobyns that I was okay with a hip replacement. He said that he didn’t ask what I was okay with. He made it clear that he wasn’t willing to discuss that as an option. That was only part of his rudeness and dismissive ness. This is the worst experience that I have ever had visiting a doctor. I’m skeptical of the 5 star reviews because I would give this man negative 50 if I could.

I had seen another orthopedic where I was dismissed and told don't walk stairs you have arthritis. (I'm under 55). I went to Dr. Dobyn's as a second opinion. He was helpful reviewed my stays and plotted a course of treatment. I didn't feel dismissed do to age or weight.

Dr. Dobyns gave me a practical assessment of my trigger finger problem. After trying a splint, he laid out two options - cortisone or surgery. The cortisone relieved the problem. He asks have pointed on how to take care good the future. Thank you.

First off the man doesn't smile or shake your hand as he greets you. Dr Dobyns has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. He did not discuss my injuries or MRI results with me but good news I don't need surgery! He seemed agitated throughout my entire consultation I could no elaborate my symptoms or make polite conversation with him. I was prescribed, steroids and pain medication and referred to a physical therapy office every time I spoke he cut me off rudely, like I annoying him.
