Incompetence at every turn. Definitely to the point of danger to patients.
Stay Away!Incompetent to the point of being dangerous!
I don't get the feeling of being a valued patient at this office nor medical group which really is just a small mom and pop shop. This office can't be bothered to answer the phone or return phone calls. When you do get to speak with someone here they will do everything possible to rush you off the phone and offer every excuse on how they cannot assist your concerns. We are expected to know individual staff's schedules and who handles what there. They do a terrible job of following up on referrals and they not only ignore your phone calls, but those of other providers who are trying to help - I'm still waiting for this office to tell my pharmacist which alternate prescription can be filled since the Dr. prescribed one that isn't covered by my insurance. This is not a medical practice I trust to handle my healthcare needs or that of my family going forward. I have requested my insurance to assign a different provider - one who is responsive, holds themselves accountable for the delivery of my care plan and one who is willing to earn my trust.
I had a great experience at Dt Globus' office. The staff were all super friendly and I didn't wait long at all to meet with the dr. Making an appointment was easy and when I called with questions they helped me right away! Dr Globus took his time in listening to all my questions and concerns. I was able to do several tests there which made things extremely convenient, including a blood test. It was so nice not having to go to quest or labcorp to get a blood draw and it's only a $20 fee for the blood draw. Totally worth it. So happy to have a new GP!

I waited months to write this review to be sure I wasn't too emotional and reactive. Now that I've had time to consider my experience, I can tell you now, this is one of THE WORST medical experiences I've had in my 52 years on the planet. The business is poorly and cheaply run, the office staff act as if they are on break 24/7. There's always about five of them chit chatting up front doing absolutely nothing, yet, all manner of communication is antiquated and unorganized. For example, try downloading their paperwork to fill out in advance. They scanned and uploaded documents instead of properly uploading them which makes it a nightmare to download, print and fill out. You'd think at least one of the five people would consider the concept of professionalism...but nope...this office doesn't care about professionalism. In September, Dr. Globus met with 18 year old daughter to discuss her severe anemia that resulted in an eating disorder for which she is in recovery for. He lectured her about her eating disorder stating that "maybe she should think about someone other than herself in order to overcome her eating disorder". Clearly this man hasn't the slightest idea of how eating disorders work. He continued to lecture her on her lack of initiative in finding out what she wants to do in life. She stated that she may want to go into investigative work or law enforcement. His response was "well what have you done about it; obviously nothing and now it's probably too late. you really should have started doing things sooner like the explorers or something.". I didn't realize our doctor's appointment was actually career counseling. The air conditioning was broken so we used his wife's medical office next door. He brought his intern in to take my daughter's blood. The inexperienced intern performed so badly, that she had to attempt to take blood THREE TIMES from my daughter before being successful. Then she said, I'm not sure I got enough , we'll figure it out. After the intern left, blood started running down my daughter's arm due to the poor job performed. I called a week later to inquire about the results, left a message, no call back. I called another week later and the front desk woman said "yes I have your message right here, we are not able to access the results yet." Oh ok...ya, thanks for updating me. What doctor's office can't upload lab results after WEEKS???? They finally said that they got the results and gave me some OTC vitamin supplement recommendations for her. The doctor we saw after Globus stated that the vitamin recommendations were not sufficient and that my daughter is so anemic she may need a blood transfusion. Wasn't even on his radar because he was too busy shaming her for not being a productive enough teen in his eyes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS QUACK!!!

Dr.Globus is a very caring physician who is so very easy to talk with...he listened and addressed every question I had during my recent visit. He is an empathetic and very intelligent dr...and this is a rare find in today's medical community. I felt like I was with an "old school " dr who genuinely cared. 5/5 stars!
Never have I had a doctor as knowledgeable, kind and as thorough as Dr. Globus.
Dr Globus is extremely kind and took the time to listen to every single issue I have and made me feel very safe in his care. First time I have felt I could trust a doctor! 10/10.
The office staff is incompetent, poorly managed and unprofessional. They sit at the front desk, doing nothing but talking amongst each other. My file is never up to date when I go to my annual exams, the wait in the lobby is way too long and then much more waiting in the exam room. No one answers the phone or replys to emails for days. I like the Dr. but he reads the file and then asks questions about things that happened years ago and not focusing on the reason we are there until the entire file is reviewed. Then someone forgets to send a referral or a prescription and you are left to wonder what is going on and when or if you will get it. The Dr. has volunteers who come and go and that may be part of the disorganization and incompetence among the staff. Very frustrating when you need to get an appointment, referral or prescription and no one can break away from gossiping at the front desk to help you. To the Dr: Get a real manager who can get the staff to do their job and you will get 5 stars. So many Yelp reviews complaining about the incompetent staff going way back years and still the same. I guess the Dr. just doesn't care about these problems.

As of 10/22/2021 - I called, someone answered immediately, and I made an appointment with ease. Dr. Globus saw me for about an hour. He really took his time and helped me to make sure I got the right meds. He's very patient. He's hands down the most patient Doctor I've ever met from all my experiences with Dr's. He truly cares for his patients, this is rare. His staff are friendly and professional. I gave blood and the experience went smoothly. I also gave a urine sample and everywhere was so clean. His office had a reputation for not answering the phone or hard to reach, but that seems to be fixed now. I've been seeing him for about 4 and a half years now.
I truly don’t care if you use this office or not, but just FYI if you’re actually worried about your health it’s probably best to use a doctor who actually sees his patients.

I love Dr Globus Saddleback Medical he is one of the sweetest nicest doctors I have seen . the staff is very polite but something must be wrong with the phone system because when I am waiting to see him I never hear the phone ring but yet when I call it always goes over to the answering machine I just do walkins because I never can get such a real person but the people there are extremely nice . so I don’t know what’s going on
One of the worst doctors, do not go to him. Not only is the office terrible and don’t answer there phones, Dr. Globus is lazy and can miss simple signs of health issues. My dad went In there over a month ago with obvious signs of sepsis (fever, difficulty breathing, fast heart rate, etc). Dr. Globus ran no tests to make sure he was okay and just gave him more antibiotics, not antibiotics related to curing sepsis. It truly blows my mind that he could miss all these signs and sepsis never crossed his mind. You can type in on Google “sepsis”and the symptoms my dad had, pop right up. Incredibly disappointed with Dr. Globus and I hope this is a wake up call to him. My dad is now in the hospital with kidney failure and will be in there for the next few days because he has “severe sepsis” which luckily didn’t take his life but easily could have.-Ryan Biernacki
