He's so good that I went back a couple months later for him to deliver our 2nd Covid baby!

His office failed to mention that I should probably arrange for a driver after my bladder biopsy. I wasn’t numbed, sedated, or anything. It was pure torchere. I should have been sedated or at least given some painkillers. Nope. All he does is turn on the soft playing classical music in the room to calm your nerves, which doesn’t work at all. Ordinary appointments never get the music, but the painful torchere appointments apparently do. And I’m no sissy to pain. I had open heart surgery a few years ago in my mid 30’s. Such an awful and painful experience. His methods are so old school. He recommended sounding therapy (stretching) of my already inflamed and irritated, painful tissues. I immediately started going to a new Doctor and her jaw literally dropped when I told her this. She prescribed me physical therapy instead, which worked wonders. Benz never even bothered with sending me to PT.

I'm so glad I found Dr. Benzl. He's definitely seen it all, and you can tell by his extremely calm demeanor - even when we had a hiccup during labor and I ended up getting a c-section. He made me feel cool as a pickle. I knew we were in good hands. He came to visit us multiple times after the c section to make sure we were all doing ok too which is really nice. During my Ob visits, he was always attentive and sat down with me to answer any questions. He would always say, " this is the easy part, the hard part is after the baby is born" - which is SO true. I had a high-risk pregnancy as an AMA and having a large fibroid. Everything worked out wonderfully. Labor wasn't perfectly how I envisioned, but the best it could be given the situation. The baby is now almost 3 months old and we are both very healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Benzl, especially if you are naturally a worry fart like me!

Dr Benzl was my surgeon. He was very careful to give me the very best care. The results are wonderful. I would highly recommend him to all women for their OB/GYN care and surgery.

Dr Benzl has been my doctor for years and delivered my daughter and son. He was also there for me when I lost two babies before my second trimester He is so caring and every time I have any concern he is so calm and never lets me leave without answering all my questions. His staff is very friendly and extremely welcoming. I drive all the way from riverside because I don’t want another doctor :)

Dr. Benzl is absolutely amazing. This was my first pregnancy and he listened to all of my and my husbands requests, gave us realistic feedback and was very measured in his care. He even cared about us enough to cancel our appointment when he was sick so I wouldn't get infected while pregnant. We were so lucky to find him! We even asked if he would deliver our next one. Can't say enough about how well he took care of us.

I called the office to schedule , the receptionist asked my information put me on hold back & forth and after 10 mins when I told her you know I'm a new patient she said sorry I didn't ask , so I said no problem I'm close to your office I will come in person later to schedule I went there she got the copy of my insurance card and scheduled me for next week which is Today , when I went to the office on my appointment day the receptionist and Dr told me that I don't have an appointment and I'm not in there system what a confusing office the receptionist was asking me if I wanna schedule for another day Of course not How could I trust you & your office for anything , what a inconvenience, I'm not recommend this office at all

I’m disappointed. He called his office after his lunch break to inform his staff he wouldn’t be back after lunch (something that he could of done while on his lunch break) I drove 30 miles.... I work graveyard and this appointment left me with little sleep. My time is valuable too. He said he felt a “cold coming on” After reading the reviews from a first time mom who felt cheated because he never answered questions or a woman with a tumor the size of a grapefruit and in a lot of pain... he refused to remove her cancer due to a lawsuit. I can’t help but feel like I dodged a bullet.

I'm very disappointed. I drove 30 miles to see this Dr Benzl, while I was waiting for my appointment and filling out paperwork, he called the office saying 'he felt like a cold was coming on and he wouldn't be back to the office" I was already waiting for him. He should of called his staff during his 2 hour lunch break to let his afternoon patients know he wasn't coming back. My time is as important as his. What kind of a doctor is this uncourteous???? Won't be back!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Benzl and his staff today. I can not say enough about this group of people. dr. Benzl is a gentle and caring doctor. I loved no HUGE parking structures and the small office feel. What a great experience.
