List of Keith M. Weiner's Reviews
Dr Weiner is A horrible doctor. He had the audacity to tell my niece that if she continues at her current weight nobody would want to ask her to prom. This is a 17 year old girl he is taking to. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. Definitely not a doctor I would recommend.
Dr. Weiner is such a great pediatric Cardiologist. He has helped my son so much and is very knowledgeable. He always takes his time with us, giving us what we pay for when going to his office. I highly recommend!!
I took my 13 year old daughter to see this doctor for her heart. instead she was sexually harassed by this predator and he made sexual comments while giving her what seemed to be a breast massage . he convinced me it was normal .I was horrified and told my daughter to get up from exam table .I could not believe what was happening .I felt helpless and violated .my daughter ran out of the office and burst into tears ! she felt so violated and creeped out. I realized he was very creepy and the things he was saying were very sexual in nature and out of line . I reported this to medical board . he is a sick creep!!!
The doctor is very personable however I have been in pain for well over a month probably longer and I still haven’t seen the doctor. An MRI is been done. But he is so scheduled that he can’t see me in my pain level has been at 10. There is no consideration by his staff to work me in to get pain medication or a shot while we figure out what the long-term solution is going to be. I am sorely disappointed. And if I didn’t like my interview with the Doctor Who is a fellow Vietnam era aviator I would rate this a one star. If you are in chronic pain and need help immediately this organization is not going to be able to help you. I find staff insensitive because they have their protocols that have to work on and cannot think for themselves about the patient.
I am so disappointed with the EXPERIENCES I had with this Cardiology Group. From the first visit I didn’t feel welcome nor as if they cared. You would think because this is a pediatric office, they would have a sense of urgency, compassion or empathy towards their patients. My son was diagnosed this May and needs meds daily. EVERY MONTH that I need to refill his heart meds, it’s a cycle of blame. The staff at Children’s Cardiology Group do not take ownership of their mistakes and miscommunications. Instead they make excuses and blame the pharmacy. The last couple times I had enough. I requested his refills early, had the pharmacy request it early, even requested to have more than 1 month refill to avoid going through the authorization every 30 days. I CRIED, BEGGING because my son went without a couple dosages. My baby is only 1 yrs old. This happened more than once! How many children had to go through this!?! The staff provided wrong info, lied, blame others, and showed no compassion.
Dr. Weiner always show urgency on my son's condition and treated my son with professionalism and he was very patient with our questions and decisions.
My sons Cardiac catch to over 6 hours a CHOC hospital. The nurse called the chief of neonatalology to the heart cath room. He learned the dr. Weiner had pierced my sons heart, the acute heart surgeon was call and arrived 5 minutes later, kicked Weinert out of the room and repaired the hole in 10 minutes. Dr Weiner survived but if the heart surgeon hadn't been in the hospital my son would have died. For follow up we now take him the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
We had a terrible experience with Dr. Weiner. My son was born with a narrowing in the Aorta. He was 12 yrs old when Dr. Weiner attempted to place a stent in the aorta. Long story short he stent wasn't dilated properly and it traveled to his stomach which cannot be removed. Not only that, but he also damaged my son's artery on the leg (where the catheter is inserted) while he did the angioplasty. Unfortunately this is irreversible.
Dr. Wiener is a terrible Doctor. Do NOT ever take your child to him. He has lost his privelidges at CHOC and moved to Long Beach. Horrible reputation!
Dr. Weiner has been treating my son since he was 2 days old and diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. I know that the surgeons do the work that need to be done inside my little mans body to fix him but its the cardio Dr that really takes care of him after to make sure that he is doing well and stays well after the surgery or what ever the case may be. Dr. Weiner is caring and knowledgeable. He is always willing to spend the extra time with you and go over things so that you understand. All arround a great Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
