Dr. Kenneth Kushner did hernia repair surgery for our daughter. He was excellent. I appreciated that he kept me informed during the surgery, and came out to talk with me after the surgery. We are sorry she had to switch insurance companies, and will not be able to be his patient now (another hernia).

Dr. Kushner literally saved my life. The most descriptive comment I can make about Dr. Kushner is that he "walks on water." Dr. Kushner is the most caring, intelligent and tenacious of surgeons. Every nurse respects Dr. Kushner, cannot talk highly enough about him either. One nurse shared an emotional story with me and to say the least, he will not give up any attempts to save a patient. He fights for you in every regard. He will never give up.

Dr. Kushner is the most amazing surgeon and doctor! His compassion and communication would not have been better. He is thorough and truly cares about his patients and wants to make sure that all parties understand what is happening, what to expect and how to achieve the best outcome. Doctor Kushner is an incredible doctor. I met him in the hospital when I was having bowel obstruction. And he explained things so well and he didn’t rush into performing surgery, in fact I didn’t have surgery because of his knowledge and education. You are a treasure to Mission Hospital. We loved you.

Dr. Kushner was great in the pre-op visit, giving me all the information I needed to make decisions about the type of surgery best for me, the timing, my work schedule, etc.. Two weeks after my hernia surgery I can still say Dr. Kushner is fantastic. The survey went extremely well with minimal recovery time and very little pain. I couldn't be happier with my surgery and surgeon.

This man saved my life from a gull bladder surgery that went horribly wrong while i was in recovery it was at no fault of dr kusner or his team i went into kidney failure two hours after and cause is unknown it was a scary for me but dr kushner i believe did save my life
