Leon Baginski's Online Review Report Card

WORST DOCTOR. TOO BUSY CARE. This post is for 1st time Moms. My name is Svetlana Kurtseva. I was pregnant with my 1st child. My decision to have Leon Baginski as my OBGYN was based on good online reviews and location. My pregnancy was perfect, no complications. All I asked from my doctor is to have my baby as natural as possible!!! My contractions started, me and the father of my child went to the Mission VIEJO Hospital. At the hospital: 1. They injected into my vein medication to make my contractions go faster and stronger. Told me that it will “help” to deliver faster. 2. Broke my water. Told me my baby will go through vaginal canal easier. Nothing was natural, I didn’t know better. 18 hours in! I had very strong contractions and asked for a pain medication, I got an epidural. Still was planning to give a natural birth. Leon came once, during my contractions, checked my opening - 9cm., left. Nurse broke my water way to early, 6 hours after, my baby’s heart rate started to drop off. I had no choice but to do a C Section. During the c section we found out that baby was positioned - face up. I did my research, it means that if Leon Baginski did his due diligence, find out why I had long contractions and slow progress, realized baby’s position was wrong. All he needed to do is to reposition me (by turning me on the side!!!) or manually reposition baby inside. I would avoided cutting my belly and have a bunch of complications afterwards! On next day Leon Baginski had a nerve to come in our room and asked me: “what happened?”. I was speechless by his insolence. After C Section: 1. I have 2 scars outside and inside on my belly! 2. I feel numbness on some parts of my belly! 3. I have bigger risks to run into very serious complications if I get pregnant again because my scars may tear up ! 4. Long recovery, based on intake hormones! 5. I could have a limited about of babies!! Leon Baginski could care less. From healthy woman I became a woman who may not be able to carry my own child!!! I wonder: ‘how many women got cut because of him’?! TO LEON: F*k you! Wish I could cut your belly and see how you would exist after that.

I am honored to share my story about this amazing doctor, Dr Leon J Baginski. I was rushed to the ER back in 1991. After 4 days and 5 doctors opinions, none of them could diagnose my illness. I was very ill and had little time left. It was close to midnight when this extremely focused doctor quickly walked in my room. He walked right up to me. Introduced himself and mentioned he was on call for my OBGYN. (You see, I didn't know that my mother called my doctor because at that time, I was having fertility issues. She was just trying to help save me. The other doctors had no idea what to do with me.) He asked me if it was ok that he examined me. I agreed. He went into action and quickly determined it was an emergency surgery situation. He discovered I had a ruptured appendix. Paratenitis was running all through my body. I would have died without Dr Baginski's quick thinking. Needless to say, I'm here today to share my story about this outstanding human being who saved my life that night because of his quick thinking and amazing abilities! Had my first visit Friday with Leah. She was great!

As a young patient, I was pretty nervous coming to see an OBGYN doctor for the first time, as I am only 18 years old. When I came to the office, all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Dr. Baginski is very thorough in his explanations on conditions, procedures and protocols and is a very well-rounded holistic doctor. I had a large teratoma cyst (13 cm) in my ovary, and was worried that I would have to lose my ovary due to its size. Thankfully, Dr. Baginski was able to take out the large cyst while saving my ovary. I am grateful to Dr. Baginski and his staff for making the process easy.

As always, friendly and caring staff I usually complain about time because i have to wait a lot 😅 but this is the second time in a row that timing is awesome.

Stacy Peterson is wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and professional. She answered all the questions I had and was very thorough in her explanations.

Dr. Baginski is the best and has a way of helping you relax for any procedure.
