Poneh Rahimi's Online Review Report Card

Honetly, my first few visits with her (few years back) I found her rather cold and uncaring. Her staff could almost be called rude. HOWEVER, I needed to see her again earlier this year and I thought it was a different person.Very kind and comforting, both prior to my procedure, during and after. Her office staff seemed a lot more profesional as well. I don't know... may be she was going through some bad stuff the first time around, or I was. I just want to say I whole heatedly recomend her and will continue to see her as needed.

Very good doctor. Manages and diagnoses very complex cases over and over again. Super fun person with great bed side manner. My favorite!

In Nov 2021, I had an office visit with Dr. Rahimi for the purpose of getting a colonoscopy.  After the appointment, someone from the office was to call to schedule the procedure.  When they did not call, I phoned in two times to get scheduled.  After not getting anywhere, I went to another provider and had to pay cash.  In April, I received a call that Dr. Rahimi would like $215 for the services provided or she will send the bill to collection.  This is the first I've received a bill from this office.  This office would appear to be very disorganized, have no customer focus, or is unethical.  My experience has been frustrating and costly.  I would not recommend this physician.

Similar horrible experience in regards to billing. She wanted to do a special type of endoscopy for bleeding concerns. Asked twice if it was covered by insurance and the office manager said yes. Insurance declines the claim because of the diagnosis code she used. Dr Rahimi would not take my calls or change it. There was another diagnosis that was also applicable but she still would t change it. Charged my $1,500 then after 3 months sent it to collection where I then had to pay $2,250! She is not willing to help her patients at all and is more concerned about finances! Horrible awful experience!!

What a horrible experience for both my wife and me. My wife went to see Dr. Rahimi in November 2021 for a consultation for a colonoscopy. The office staff said they would call her the next week to schedule the procedure. They NEVER called her. I then went in mid December as a referral from my primary because of some concerns. I waited in the lobby for almost 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Then my appointment with Dr. Rahimi happened and her staff said they would call the next week to schedule the procedure. You guessed it... no call. We called 3 weeks later, on a Monday, and spoke with the officer manager about the neglect to schedule our appointments especially with the urgency in which mine was supposed to happen. She told my wife that should not have happened and someone would be calling us the same day. NOTHING. Fast forward 2.5 weeks later and they called to schedule mine. No thank you! I went to a different doctor who has a professional staff with integrity. They still haven't called to schedule my wife's but she's gone somewhere else too. What a joke of an office!

Saw Dr. Rahami last week. Best care anywhere! Dr. Rahami takes your best interest to heart. I wouldn't go anyplace else.

Although I have perfect credit and never received a call back from her to explain a "previous balance" with no description of services, my bill was sent to collections after she alleged that she sent 4 bills (I had one of the 4 that I paid, and it did not have the charge in question; I did not receive the other 3 bills from her). She also said her billing people called me on particular dates but I showed her my call log having no such calls. I called her office at least 20 times to talk to her and she only called back only after I sent a letter. She basically said tough luck on the bills. I asked her to waive the $40 fee she was to collect from the collection agency and she even refused to take responsibility for that. She mentioned she had a similar situation with a Macy's charge and she said she never shopped at Macy's again. So I guess she knows how I feel.

Dr. Rahimi has been a lifesaver for me since 2015 when my gut issues began. Her care, concern and correct diagnosis has helped me through difficult times. I love the personalized service and continued care plan to keep me healthy. The facility I recently went to for a procedure with Dr Rahimi was named in Newsweek magazines top 2021 Ambulatory Surgery Centers and they certainly lived up to it. Very pleased customer here!
