List of Ramin Tayani's Reviews
Worse Dr. Please dont go to Dr Tayani. He is a butcher not a Dr. My mom went to do upper eyelid surgery but he did also eye muscle surgery for her because he said she needs it. We trusted him but my mom came back home after 2 hour surgery ( this makes it more suspicious) eye both eyes were bruised and couldn’t open her eyes. We knew something is not right. My mom ended up we crossed eye and he couldn’t even fix it. He is rude, unprofessional, and worse Dr I ever seen
I was denied service because I did not wear a mask into the office. Today, at the Tayani Institute, 653 Camio De Los Mares, Suite 103, in San Clemente, CA, I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by a very RUDE office assistant/manager. She didn't greet me by saying "welcome to Tayani Institute", but my welcome was, “do you have a mask?” I said, no I do not. She said, "There's a sign on the door! Can't you read Sir?" I said if I need one can you please provide me with one. She said, “Yes, for $2.00”. There's a sign on the door! That we charge $2.00 for masks. I said, I am paying for an office visit, and you want to charge me $2.00 for a mask. I said I am not going to buy a mask for $2.00, so she denied me service. So, I walked out and because of the the employee’s rudeness to me, I wanted to share my feedback with those thinking about coming to Tayani Institute. Being denied service from a healthcare facility because I do not have a mask is a violation and

Being denied service from a healthcare facility because I do not have a mask is a violation and they should have provide me a mask without a fee! I received several SMS alerts regarding my appointment, and there was NO mention that masks were mandatory, also received a voice announcement call asking me to confirm my appointment. Again, that voice announcement didn't mention anything about mandatory masks. It also didn't mentioned that if I didn't wear a mask I would be denied service.
I saw Dr Ramin Tayani for upper lid surgery but he advised me to do eye muscle surgery too. I trusted him but end up with cross eyes and double vision. He admitted that he did something at surgery but he will be able to fix it. Unfortunately he made my eyes worse even after the surgery. After the surgery I went to see him but he didn’t show up and he didn’t care at about my situation that he put me through. Im only 57 years old and never had eye problems. Then I heard he had done this to other patients and they all ended up like me. Do not go to him
He made my healthy eye to worse and ugliest eye. I ended up with double vision and cross eyes. He couldn’t even fix it with the second surgery, then he stopped showing up to my appointments and didn’t even care that he did this to me
Choose another doctor if you are wanting upper or lower lid blepharoplasty. Dr. Ramin Tayani (Tayani Eye Institute of San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Oceanside), will over-sell surgical procedures. He will disfigure your your eyes, thus your face. Pray the Lord gives you discernment and helps you make a good choice.
I wish I could give Dr Tayani 0 star or negative star. He is the worse Dr Iever seen. I went to his office for upper ye lid surgery to just remove extra skin, but he suggested to have eye muscle surgery too, I trusted him , so I had both surgeries done. After surgery I got crossed eye and my eye looks horrible , I got double vision, and my eye ball is not moving. I never had eye problem, I only wear reading glasses. He has no mercy. I dont even think he does surgery himself. I went back to him. He did another surgery and again he didnt fix it, it actually got worse. He only charges insurance companies for money and he tells all his patient that they need surgey. DO NOT BELIVE HIM, DO NOT TRUST HIM. He has significant cases . If you know anyone that went to this Dr and end up with getting worse or something please email me.
After a mountain biking accident in Feb 2021, I suffered an orbital floor blowout fracture. Dr. Tayani was recommended to me by two close family friends for my repair. I thought my eye would never look the same again. I felt confident when I found out another close friend’s wife had eye surgery with Dr. Tayani and mentioned how pleased they were with the results. From the get go, Dr. Tayani treated me as if I’ve known him all my life. He went above and beyond to coordinate my care with other doctors. He was available whenever I needed him to answer questions or deal with any concerns. His skill, expertise and bedside manner were excellent. I’m so happy I chose Dr. Tayani for my eye surgery.
I needed my tear ducts rebuilt for both eyes. Dr. Tayani performed the surgeries 6 months ago and my new tear ducts function exactly as they should. I just had my stents removed and the scars have healed beautifully and are barely visible. The staff at each facility have been wonderful to work with, very responsive whenever issues came up that I had not been expecting. Very glad I had the procedures done
Technically competent as long as you don't object to waiting an hour after your appointment time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
