I have chronic heel pain and I highly recommend Dr. Spenser. He took his time to listen, diagnosed and explained the cause of my pain. He suggested appropriate solutions that do not require injection or surgery. Prior to this visit, I went to the orthopedic, got x-ray & injection, worked with PT, used foot massage. Nothing seems to work more than few hours. So if you have heel pain, skip all that and just go see Dr. Spenser. Excellent services!

I'm writing this review 2 weeks post op from foot surgery with Dr. Spencer. All I can say is he is the best doctor. From diagnosis, to treatment plan to surgery- everything was excellent. He's very smart and knowledgeable about the foot and his staff is efficient, responsive and wonderful to work with. He's also incredibly detailed, he listens, and has probably the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever met. He also called me to check on me after surgery and let me call him on his cell whenever I had concerns during the recovery process. I truly feel like he cares about his patients as a whole. He was a second opinion for me and I'm so glad I found his office and decided on him for surgery. I still have a ways to go in terms of recovery but I'm know I'm in great hands with Dr. Spencer and his team! I highly recommend him, and will not go anywhere for my feet!

Dr Spencer is very polite, professional, down to earth. He explains everything so you can you can in understand what he's saying to you and gives you options. I'm so happy that he did my surgery. I'm very confident with what he says and his treatment plans. He is the Bentley of ankle surgerions.

Friendly front desk staff, assistant and doctor. Came for a quick check up on my feet and found the doctor knowledgeable and trustworthy. He took his time and explained everything. The only thing you need to be prepared for is paying for parking (which was a surprise to me).

Dr Spencer was a real find after recent move from South Bay. Took time to thoroughly explain options and then treated the problem. Very nice office crew, short walk from parking which is crucial to foot problem. 5 stars

What a great experience dealing with Dr. Spencer. He takes the time to listen and explain. He is an excellent surgeon and have had many of my patients treat with him with great results! He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the foot and have used him for a lot of my complicated cases. Staff is friendly and always available for consults.

Instead of listening to my medical history or symptoms, he starts in on "you girls and your cute shoes". I let him know I have only been wearing flats approved by my physical therapist since I broke an ankle last year. He waves me off and goes back in with "but I bet they're cute" and "if you MUST wear cute shoes, change in the car, I know how you girls are". I left the

He waves me off and goes back in with "but I bet they're cute" and "if you MUST wear cute shoes, change in the car, I know how you girls are".I left the appointment feeling unheard, demeaned, and concerned that I still have a serious problem he didn't bother to diagnose.I do want to mention that everyone else in the office was fantastic, the front desk had my paperwork from Zocdoc ready to go and the PA was super helpful and efficient. The appointment was on time and there was free wifi in the waiting room.However, I cannot in good conscious recommend this practice to anyone due to Dr. Spencer's lack of ability to look past my gender and see my symptoms.

I saw Dr. Spencer a few days ago for a nagging foot issue, and I must admit that both Dr. Spencer and his staff were outstanding. I was called in withing a few minutes of arriving, which is really important to me (I hate sitting in the waiting room forever). The PA was great, he asked questions, took Xrays, etc. and then within a couple of minutes I got to see Dr. Spencer. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He spent a lot of time with me and provided a thorough answer to every one of my questions. He provided me with several conservative alternatives for treatments which I believe will resolve the issue. I was in and out within an hour. I give Dr. Spencer my highest recommendation and will definitely continue to see him for any foot issues in the future.
