Doc Carr is the very best. He discovered my wife's Lupus when other docs missed it. You are would be lucky to have him in your corner. He is in high demand though so understand that his practice is very busy. Thanks again doc

Too many patients... Wait...and wait some more! The last time it was 1.5 hrs in the office, mostly waiting. We have been very frustrated with the office situation. They have too many patients. When I arrive for appt, I see that there are 4 other patients within minutes of our appt. And if you need to change an appt- yeah...good luck, you'll be told to wait another month, as I was. Another time they canceled my appt, but did not notify me (they said they left a message, but I have no record) and I found out when I arrived. Plus I had to pay $4 for parking (which they said they don't reimburse). The Dr. does take time with you. No thanks, getting another referral and requesting a records release for my child.

Dr. Carr is such an amazing, caring individual and spends time getting to know you. He is so informed and personable! I have been to countless doctors and he by far is the top of them!

Dr. Carr is the best in his field (to me anyway). He is great with my 9 year old daughter and is an absolutely fantastic doctor for anyone suffering from asthma and allergies. I love my daughter's pediatrician and we'll continue seeing him, but he tends to keep things in-house when a child should be referred, so I was her advocate in getting her referred to this office. They offered us an appointment with Dr. Carr at their Irvine location, and we were so happy to get this doctor. He relates to children just like Patch Adams (see the movie, with Robin Williams), and adults just as personably. I brought her medications her pediatrician had given me, and he said "that bag full right there is all rescue medications. We need to get your daughter's asthma under control." He tested her then and there in the office (breathing tests, allergy tests and a breathing treatment right away because she was wheezing) and got us answers, free sample meds to get her feeling better immediately, and a follow up appointment two weeks later. My daughter felt better right away and it is all thanks to him. I highly recommend him whether you are looking for care for yourself or a child.

Hurry up and wait ran office. I experienced misdiagnosis. Laziness on the part of the doctor to explain side effects of medication and reviewing chart before referring you on.

Dr. Carr and his staff were thorough and exhibited great bedside manner. Although my appointment for two children took several hours to complete it was time well spent. Since working with Dr. Carr my children are healthier and I am happier.

My daughter saw Dr. Carr and he misdiagnosed her. He did not take the time to listen to her as a patient and his in-office testing was not thorough. He did not spend a lot of time with us on the two visits we had. He said she did not have asthma, when in fact she did. I ended up spending over a thousand dollars to do other testing elsewhere that wasn't necessary. Good thing for CHOC pulmonology - the doctors there correctly diagnosed my daughter.

When I went to Dr. Carr I was feeling tired with little energy, after one treatment in his office and now two months with the correct medication, I feel like a new person. My asthma had never been addressed only my allergies. I did not remember feeling this well in many years. Dr. Carr explained my problem , took time so I understood how the treatment would work. I highly recommend his and his excellent staff.
