Beyond disappointed with this doctor. Upon entering the room, the first thing he said was 'what do you want me to do?' This was shocking as my daughter was a new patient and we were seeking a specialist in asthma to understand what to do. He was very dismissive during the visit of my clear concern for her treatment and desire to understand the proper care, as we have had conflicting treatment plans for her asthma. At the end of our visit, he indicated she did not have allergies nor asthma, yet recommended putting her on significantly more asthma medicine. AM (2 puffs) PM (2 puffs) and emergency inhaler before her sport daily (2puffs)... this was shocking specifically because it is never recommended to take the emergency inhaler daily, and I already informed him of her heart palpitations another doctor linked to the emergency inhaler overuse. I don't know if there was a racial bias at play or if he just wanted to take advantage of our insurance, but I do not recommend at all.

The "Rock Star" of allergists, as another allergist referred to him! I've been a patient for 20 years. His whole office staff are the best. He has always been supportive and understanding. His system with the allergy shots sure helped me. I rarely have any allergic reactions now just have to maintain the asthma. I started with him on some clinical trials. Great success.

Dr. Berger is by far one of California's finest allergists. As physicians go, he is not only at the top of his game but he is just a fine man. You'll be in a great practice with a highly skilled professional. If you have allergy or breathing issues Dr Berger is the man.

Dr. William Berger for asthma there's no doctor that could compete with him he not only educates you but he let you know you are in good hands. He can heal your as asthma condition and he's a very kind and generous man He will make your lungs feel better, he does everything with kindness generosity he tells it like it is he wrote the book asthma for dummies and it's highly recommend everyone reads it. I was highly recommended to him and I took out the person to lunch because he's is that good. His nurse Amanda is very comforting and helpful with a wonderful sense of humor Everyone in the office will definitely put you at ease and you will want to go back I'm so happy that my friend recommended me to go there Best regards Victor

I have been suffering for decades with a chronic cough, and have gone through many doctors who could not fix it. About 10 years ago, I went to a pulmonary specialist, and got what I thought was proper treatment, but unfortunately, it was only an incremental improvement, and I was still coughing way too much. I complained that the treatment seemed insufficient, but he told me it was the best that could be done, and I trusted him, and I continued suffering this chronic cough for several more years. I have finally got the right medications and treatment from Dr. Berger, what a relief! I'm so glad I'm not suffering anymore, thank you so much Dr. Berger!

Dr. Berger and his staff are outstanding. I have been his patient for many years and he has changed my life. Due to the allergy shots, I no longer get seasonal sneezing, runny eyes and nose, etc. which always ran down my resistance to colds and flu. Now I don't even notice that it is allergy season and rarely get a cold or flu. I have the highest regard for Dr. Berger and highly recommend him.

Thanks to Dr. Berger I can breathe again! After six years of suffering with severe allergy issues, and after seeing several different doctors who did not help me, I finally got MAJOR RELIEF after my first visit with Dr. Berger! So grateful!

The front staff were very courteous and professional. I only waited a few minutes before the doctor came in. He reviewed my history in detail and ordered tests that found out the cause of my cough. The treatment worked and for the first time in 5 months the cough went away. . I am very grateful to Dr. Berger for helping me and I would highly recommend to anybody who has allergies or asthma.

Excellent physician and staff. Made correct diagnosis and prescribed treatment that took care of the problem.

My neurologist had me have allergy testing done in case allergies were contributing to my migraines. I did have allergies. Dr. Berger prescribed 2 nasal sprays. They caused horrible head pain (due to my brain surgery). He wouldn't prescribe oral medication, because he doesn't believe they are effective (or as effective?) So, I'm left with no relief. Then his assistant tells me to get the allergy shots. They tell you it's such a small dose it won't affect you. I had headaches after every shot.
