List of Caton Robert Md's Reviews
Back in 1985,or 86 my son broke his femur in a snowing accident in the mountains. The ambulance brought him back to Modesto and Dr Caton took over from there. He needed surgery and was in a leg cast for months. After he healed and had the cast removed, for reasons we never knew, his leg stopped growing. There was no injury to any growth bones that we know. Dr Caton told my husband and I about a device called the Ilizarov. It’s like the spokes of a bicycle, and he had to turn the screws every four or six hours to keep the bone separated so it would grow. He had the Iizarov on for about six months. I continue to thank Dr. Caton for what he did for my son. This happened the summer between eighth grade and freshman year in high school. Larry completed high school, college, married, became a father and has never had to wear special shoes to correct the height of his leg.
I suffered for years .Omg I wish I would have never stepped in his office that man left me crippled. He shouldn't of touched my legs if it wasn't to help.I was trusting and nieve. For the years of experience he had he should have known it wasn't in my best interest.Doing nothing and praying for healing would have been the best.I suffered for seven years with a mutilated leg.
This Docter is awful. He gave me two unnecessary surgeries .The surgeries on my legs only made it worse.Check his ratings .He will leave you suffering..
I had surgeries on my legs because I thought it was going to help.I didn't do my homework.Bottomline he did surgeries for money there was no reason to do surgeries .I have different insurance and different doctor and my care is so much better.I have a story and Im sure there are alot more out there to be told.Beware of this Dr.He butchered me.
I would have been better not doing surgery.I feel he should of thought about that.
He will leave you in pain ..start asking any questions and he closes your case.staff SUCKS RUDE.HE JUST ABOUT MONEY.......
Extremely rude and unprofessional staff they will speak down to you argue and just make you feel like shit they don't care they have a higher than you attitude and I have never had this happen before to this level they didn't care to speak over someone not hear the concerns of a patient and just bluntly and openly he rude don't go here you'll be treated very badly trust me
He performed 2 knee surgerys and no complaints. He is honest and listens to his patients
I am retired now and living in another state, but in the past I worked as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room with Doctor Caton for over 20 years. He has, what we call in that business, "good hands". That means his skill level and quality of decision making are excellent. As nurses, we get to see all doctors work and we don't grade their skills on a curve. Either we would trust a physician to take care of us and our family, or we wouldn't. Doctor Caton can take care of my family anytime.
Doctor did explain what was wrong with me and how it occurred. However office staff is not the best. I arrived for my appointment. They told me my appointment was not till the following week. However I could clearly see my file folder on her desk. Since my need for an orthopedic was due to a car crash the office staff lied to the lawyers involved stating I missed 3 appointments. Clearly not true

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
