List of Lenser Brian Md's Reviews
All about the $$$$. Will overcharge your insurance and God forbid you use HSA funds because they make it such a hassle to get your money back. Very unprofessional behavior in front of other patients. Like it was my fault they overcharged my insurance. I was ok the first couple times, but after the 3rd one was a large amount...I said no ..I want my $$ back. The desk staff was nice and apologetic though. He needs to retire if you can't be nice to your patients. Reporting to my insurance as well.
Likes to overcharge and it's such a hassle to get your money back. And he acts like a toddler when you ask for it back. Even in front of other patients. Very unprofessional.
Appointments are rushed and it seems this office is all about the money . If you look like you don’t have money , you wont be treated fairly . You’ll be charged $50 for a missed appointment even if you call and notify them you have Covid .
This office is all about the money . They look for every reason to get money out of you . Staff doesn’t seem to know what they’re talking about most times . Even if you have Covid and can’t make your appointments you will be charged $50 at the least .
both the doctor and the staff were great to work with. Dr Lenser is wonderful. took time to answer all my questions. the only time I had to wait was the first visit and it was an average wait time. both my surgeries were easy, recovery was quick. and I don't need anything but reading glasses. I highly recommend Dr Lenser.
I read all the reviews and I whole heartedly agree some of the staff are so dismissive of anyone's issues I'm a 66 year old single disabled retired female on a fixed income I in someway missed my appointment which I never do it was a miss communication, this one staff member was so rude they have a $50 missed appointment charge which I can not afford but if I still wanted my scheduled cataract surgery I had to pay it they had me over a barrel this is a charge that should be evaluated per patient if I didn't need the surgery I would of canceled and found a new Doctor I do not recommend this office to anyone they are un caring!!!
Went to use laser on my husband wrong eye. Then was told he needed cataract surgery in both eyes. And would need to pay 1500.00 copayment.when I questioned them about the money and I call insurance. Funny they called us back and said we would owe nothing. We told them to cancel his surgery. She said even now when you won’t owe anything. We didn’t trust them anymore 😡 went to another Doctor and was told my husband didn’t need cataract surgery. Very upsetting
I am not one to write reviews but this one is necessary. Beautiful looking office but that is about all they have going for them. No one in this office is nice. My dad was referred here by a family member that had catarct surgery a couple years ago. They had a great experience and loved this office. Our experience was not great and this office seems to only care about collecting money from us. I called the office looking to speak to the office manager numerous times and she is never available to talk as she is not in the office. I was told she works from home and is the doctors family member. The employee I spoke to tried to get my phone number to give to the manager to call me back. Unacceptable. An office manager is an OFFICE manager and usually in the office. We have since gone to a different doctor that will do my dads catarct surgery without collecting a dime up front. Being on a budget my dad needs to make payments. Also the employees are much nicer and much more helpful and knowledgeable.Bottom line save yourself some time and headaches by not coming here.
Even during all this Covid fiasco, I found the service in this office to be top notch and very efficient, even with trainees from a local business college on board. No waiting on the phone, in house or in being seen by Dr. Lenser. I appreciated that there were no surprises with him during my two cataract surgery pre- and post-appointments. I was given an overview of what would happen, what lens choices I had and the differences they would give as well as any charges (since I chose the "Cadillac" of lenses). I was even told by his office staff that my insurance would no longer cover the surgical suite, though I had previous authorization before the rule went into effect. Surgery was quick and efficient with results of 20/20 after a lifetime of wearing glasses. I am extremely pleased with the way my patient care was handled and with the results. Would highly recommend Dr. Brian Lenser to anyone.
I bring a family member here routinely and I have noticed quite a large decline in customer service here. It’s not the same as it used to be. All the employees are grouchy and rude. Not personable at all. Everyone is new and it’s apparent they have no idea what they are doing. I witnessed an older woman (employee) harassing another patient for money which was very messy and embarrassing. This office is after your money. I witnessed Adrienne or Addy Lynn (employee - I couldn’t quite catch her name) being extremely rude to another employee and then to a patient. My family member really likes Dr. Lenser, but does not want to come back after this past visit so we will be looking for another optalmologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
