I am not writing a negative review regarding Dr. Suntra, but rather his billing department. I saw Dr Suntra in April this year. I spent literally 2 minutes in his office. While he was very nice, he did not perform any procedure, just did a very quick examination. I received a bill for almost $500 (I have PPO/deductible). When I called to inquire about the charges, Sutter told me they would review my account. I then received a bill for $30 less. My husband had knee surgery and his surgeon charged much less than this.

Doctor Suntra is a very knowledgeable doctor. He is also very honest. He is very thorough and explains things in layman's terms. He tells it like it is and will not prescribe or order a test he feels will not really be of benefit. I appreciate his no nonsense approach.

Absolutely ridiculous to wait over 2 weeks for imaging results and the Dr, nor staff will return a phone call.

My daughter has always had ear issues that resulted in recurring ear infections...Dr. Suntra put in tubes and took care of my daughters ears for the past 12 yrs. We are sad to say that our insurance changes and she will no longer be able to see him for yearly checks on her ears. She is sad, but understands. I recommend Dr. Suntra to everyone and anyone who needs a great ENT. Our family is very thankful for his his help and expertise.

I have been going to Sutter Gould for over 20 years and have never had such a horrible experience as I have had with Dr. Suntra and his office staff.  He ordered an MIR for me in April.  I asked the staff if they had pre-approved it through my insurance and was assured that it was covered.  I had the MIR on June 23rd and shortly there after I received a letter from my insurance company that they would not cover it because Dr. Suntra did not do his due dilgence with regard to information to the insurance company.  I have called his office MULITIPLE times with no response, with the exception of one phone call from someone in is office to tell me that he followed up with a 1:1 to the insurance and that was 2 weeks ago.  I have called his office several times in the last week, with no response.  Each time I was told by the person answering the phones that they are too busy to respond to me.  And to top it off, Dr. Suntra has never called to talk to me about the results of my MRI!  I had the MRI in June and it is now July 20th. Please do your research on a doctor and his office before chosing to go.

He found cancer on my vocal cords after going to four other Drs he is an excellent Dr. I drive 9 hrs one time a year to see him.i rate him a 10 plus.

I was referred to Dr. Suntra from my allergist Dr. Carroll (who is now retired) He has helped me so much with headaches.  I was getting a lot of pressure in my ears and he suggested a PE tube! Great advice and he cares about his patients.

Made an appointment which took about 3 weeks, came to my appointment for them to tell me the dont accept my insurance which i never had an issue with anywhere else, then i said ok i will pay cash to be seen which they said was fine and then said the doctor was going to charge me $1,000 to have a scope view something, keep in mind i have not even been taken in the actual doctors office yet, this is just what the doctors assistant was saying on the phone, then said to go somewhere else. Terrible

This doctor is a joke, when I made the appointment they took my insurance information when I got to my appointment they said we don't take your insurance then I said I want to pay cash which they gave me the price and I said that's fine in the main room then she called the actual office and spoke with the secretary there and they said before even knowing what's wrong with me or anything that they're going to charge me $1000 for a scope to view something, keep in mind they did not know at all what is wrong with me and then they said it is illegal for them to take my money because I have insurance so I just need to go to a place that excepts my  insurance, this place sounds very fishy I would definitely stay away from this doctor and find a better establishment, I will be posting negative reviews all over the Internet about what happened to me today at this place. Completely wasted my time. They deserve zero stars, just another doctor all about his money and he realized he could not milk my insurance company so he sent me away. I am happy he did because those are not the doctors I'm looking for I'm looking for a doctor to actually help and want to help, stay away.
