I was not planning on writing a review after my first bad experience at Beverly Hills Prestige Dental Group. But after a second even worse experience I decided that I wanted other people to know to listen to the negative reviews you see here as they all are true. First of all, please be aware that they WILL try to upsell you on things you don’t need. I was told that I needed an antibiotic treatment due to an gum infection in my mouth. I was pretty shocked by this because I have good oral hygiene- but of course when a professional tells you something like that the first reaction is to trust them. However- in retrospect it really did not make any sense. They gave me a small tray of foam to put on my teeth and I held it there for 30 seconds or so and took it out. If I really had an infection that would not have really helped, it was just a way they could get an additional $50 out of me. At the end of my appointment, which other than the upselling was fairly standard, they told me I shou

If I really had an infection that would not have really helped, it was just a way they could get an additional $50 out of me. At the end of my appointment, which other than the upselling was fairly standard, they told me I should see a gum specialist due to gum recession and said they had a great doctor in house, Dr. Pedram Fakheri. My second appointment at Beverly Hills Prestige Dental Group with Dr. Pedram Fekhari is when things got even worse. After inviting me into my dental chair fairly quickly after my arrival, they kept me sitting there for 45 minutes. Normally I would be understanding o this- however there is NO PARKING at Beverly Hills Prestige Dental Group. So you have to search all over the area for street parking and the best I could find was 2 hour metered parking. So if your appointment is long and they have you waiting for a long time the meter will expire and you will get a parking ticket. I finally went back to the front desk to see what was going on and right then they said he could see me. On first meeting him he began peppering me with condescending and rude trick questions. For example “what are you doing here”, “is gum recessing bad”, “if something does hurt it means t’s not bad for you, right?”. It’s hard to convey through text how strange this was in the moment. You expect a specialist dentist to be warm, kind, and thoughtful not arrogant and rude. Then he proceeded to pull up google images on the computer to show me examples of gums- strange since I can and did do that at home before the appointment. Lastly, he only looked at my mouth for about 20 seconds to identify which gums were receding and told me a needed a gum graft surgery. At this point I was feeling very uneasy and skeptical that he would suggest such a drastic surgery without even measuring the depth of my gum pockets or even closely evaluating teeth for longer than a couple seconds. He went on to say I need to decide whether I wanted to use cadaver tissue or my won for the surgery, making sure to say using cadaver tissue would make his life easier. I was chocked and creeped out to have this conversation about 5 minutes of meeting him. I told him I need to think about it more before committing (really just trying to escape and get out of there) and he told me that “yeah you need to do more research”. Overall I cannot recommend this office and particular do not recommend Dr. Pedram Fakheri. They will upsell you, try and get you to do things you do not need, and will condescending you in the process. PS Dr Pedram Fakheri also had really bad, bad breath you could smell through his mask. That’s a cardinal sin for a dentist- gross.
I was having a procedure completed on 4/20, not aware of my new dentist. All I can say, is that if I had to have any or this procedure done again, he would be my first choice. I love my dentist, I can not describe him any other way but awesome!!!! Me like most persons,we all hate the dentist, but since I have met him and he has cared for me during my procedure I am so relieved. My blood pressure would always be up before I saw anyone, now I am so relaxed. He also plays good music .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
