Montclair Hospital Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

This hospital is great I've been here for the past 2 days. All the staff from the ER to when I got admitted here all the nurses cleaning staff lab staff all have been AMAZING! They are always checking on you to make sure you're comfortable. Answering everytime I prefer then for help, great experience so far!!.. thank you Montclair Hospital and staff!!

All the nurses doctors and staff are very friendly and helpful but when you get somebody in here that does not belong to the hospital directly they are from a agency that the nurses from that agency don’t care about the patient they are rude and very inconsiderate and they don’t care they just got money

I was overdue and a transfer from a birth center and needless to say, my expectations were low. Drs. Lamberty and Hussein worked with my midwives and oversaw my care, so I opted for this hospital. I was blown away by the care I received from these OBs and Labor and Delivery! I came in feeling somewhat defeated because this was not what I planned, but the nursing staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable and honored what they could from my birthplan. BIG shout-out to Alexia and Dailynn and Len. Beautiful souls, excellent bedside manners, and again, they LISTENED to me. They respected my space, and I truly felt treated like a person and not a number. Alexia was with me at the end, and she really helped me through transition and supported my husband as well. My pregnancy was textbook and they left me alone to Labor and supported my choices for position etc. I delivered my sweet girl med-free and safely in January. For being a hospital birth, I am impressed. (I've had five hospital, 1 birth center and this is our 6th hospital, so I feel like I can make a sound judgment!) If we are blessed with another and I end up going post dates again, I will choose this hospital, even though it's a drive for us.If a nurse named Florence comes.into.your room, do yourself a favor and ask her to leave. Terrible bedside manner,.talked about me to my nurse, came into my room when I was in transition and complained (again to my nurse!) "Are you really going to let her give birth this way?" Alexia spoke up for me and smoothed it over. After I gave birth, that horrible woman came to "clean me up" with a terrycloth towel! (My perineum...terrycloth... AFTER BIRTH!) I told.her to stop and she actually.touched me again with it. I raised my voice at her and then she backed off. Just don't even give her a chance... If wasn't for the great care I received otherwise, Florence would have sunk this review all on her own. With all that being said, it is not a pretty hospital at all! Very basic, not impressive. My review is for Labor and Delivery only. If you need an OB, Lamberty and Hussein are also five stars from me.

Suffered for months with HIV. My friend recommended Dr. Chief and I have to communicate with him. Well after taking all the treatment sent to me by Dr. Chief i went back to the Hospital for check up, and now i have been confirmed HIV Negative, His wonderful! Thank you Dr. Chief! Annaivias was amazing 😍 she was very attentive patient and kind she helped me with anything that I needed along with the other staff very great experience with my delivery and the care of my newborn

No issues with staff at waiting area, but aunt that was a patient did say it was a bad experience. She was not getting fed, they hurt her, was cold all night and was never asked if she was ok. The attention was terrible. Also needed help to turn on side and wouldn’t help when she asked. Please make sure to ask your loved ones if you can help them with something or ask for something they are not getting. Ask if they are getting the attention they need.

The staff, Charla, was very friendly and helped me beforehand to make me understand about the paperwork I had to complete for my exam process. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

On Friday morning, I took my significant other to do a procedure. I unfortunately had to witness this old lady yelling at this clerk and I was able to hear her name which was Carla. I personally believe it was unfair that this older lady was being super rude to that clerk and I give props to that clerk for providing great customer service throughout the argument.

Realmente este hospital ha mejorado muchísimo, mi esposa y yo dejamos de atendernos aquí x mas de 10 años, hace poco escuchamos las opiniones de otras personas amigos y amigas nuestras, el primero en llegar a sala de emergencia fui yo, Jorge, en los primeros días de enero 2022, luego mi esposa en marzo de este mismo año, conclusión, la atención en tan buena y mejor que hace 10 años, lo recomendamos muy si sinceramente, muy buena atención y muy bueno el personal!
