Had an appointment to find out if i had to have surgery for a kidney cyst . I was nervous as it is but got more nervous i have anxiety issues when i heard the doctor raising his voice and cuss for whatever reason while i was waiting in a room to be seen by him . I only was here because i was referred . When i told him what i was there for he made these mocking hand gesture like oh big deal . I know cyst aren’t big deal but due to the size my doctor was concerned . I didn’t need to feel like i was wasting him sweet time . I Am glad I don’t need surgery and even more glad i never have yo return . One time visit was more than enough.
AVOID I was denied service after having an appointment here. Please find another doctor there have been nothing but horror stories from this guy. He is outdated and misinformed
One of the most shadiest doctors I’ve ever came across of. Just cares about money, not your health. Revoke this mans license!

Read the review re: "my mom" and just could not understand how this fellow was able to "call the hospital" and get confirmation that each test was positive for UTI. With proper ID and consent you can in some cases go in person to the hospital and request ( and obtain) medical records for another if you have a power of attorney or other documents. Due to HIPAA the medical record staff is however forbidden to just spill the info over the phone. And if you think you can call the Emergency room and ask, forget it. I am an MD not associated with the Urologist in question. I cannot just cold call in to a hospital or clinic and get such info. I can, by using a specific code and unlisted number call medical records at the hospitals I work at and get info on my own patients only.
This Medical office is a joke been trying to make a appointment for a month now every time I call It sends me to their office exchange line during office hours and the days they do answer I speak to a girl Christina that apparently doesn’t know how to find referrals . This place a joke I will be contacting my medical group to redirect my authorization .
This office has the worst customer service I had experience in my life the receptionist named Nadia has poor communication skills is rude inappropriate and overall unprofessional.she stated that it was practically IMPOSIBLE for her to return my call instead of asking me to call her back several times to follow up just to make an appointment. Its a shame for physicians to let these type of bad attitude useless individuals run a medical office Mr. Yacoub you should apologize and fire this incompetent staff that is mistreating your potential patients.as of me I will not call your office again EVER you can thank MS. RUDE Nadia for that.
My mom was a patient with Dr. Atef Yacoub. Due to bladder issues she wears a permanent catheter and the catheter is replaced once a month. In the beginning of this year she suffered multiple UTIs and was rushed to the ER once a week for a month to have it replaced. Catheters are not meant to be exchanged that often and the ER doctor suggested she see her Urologist as soon as possible. The ER always ran test on her and her result always came back positive for UTIs. The day we took her to see Dr. Yacoub her primary doctor had faxed over all the hospital records. After Dr. Yacoub examine her he said to me that he didnt understand why she was there. That the hospital reports show No Infection that she is okay and they he is going to suggest a psychological evaluation As I stood there telling him how I dont understand how that is possible and how Ive been in the ER when they have said to me she has a UTI. He said no show me where it said on the report and that its all in her head. The reports were loaded onto his computer and to be honest I didnt even know what they said. After leaving his office I called the hospital and they confirmed that each test that was faxed to his office showed she had a UTI.....each test I also spoke to her primary doctor and she was also upset with his outcome. She reached out to him but never received a call back. My mom now has a new Urologist. Dr. Atef Yacoub you have lost your compassion to care for your patients maybe not all of them but you have. Maybe you were upset that we forced your office to see her or you really just dont care anymore. I dont recommend you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
