To start up this review I would like to say that I have never ever in my life seen such unprofessionalism from A doctor. Our insurance was changed to this primary doctor Dr. Dhawan Vijay. We made an appointment for today 10219 . For 5pm we arrived at 435. Staff at desk very nice and professional. The problem is not with them. They were very polite and helpful. Thank you to the front desk lady. Dr did not arrive into office until 630pm and upon hearing him yelling in hallway that why was there a new patient and what was he doing there. my husband . Nurse tried to explain he was a new patient He started yelling saying no he will not take new patients and will not see him at all. Did not come into room. He stood in hallway very angry and told us he refused to see us. Did not even look at chart nor did he even try to hear us out. I never ever seen a Dr yell in front of patients nor have I ever seen a Dr treat a patient this way. I got home and admittedly reported him to our insurance company and they will be helping us file a grievance against this rude Dr. he was so nice in the hospital. He saw my husband his whole stay there over 21 days. So if I were you I would stay away from this Dr office. And to the staff find another office to work because this can also reflect on you if you dont stand up for your patients. As we were leaving no one even apologize for his behavior. If we ever run into him at any of our local hospitals I Will refuse his service. This day will never leave my mind . I am so disgusted with this place. Stay away And he doesnt even deserve one star. I had to chose one to post my review. But ZERO stars

Most compassionate Doctors that we have met. Dr. Dhawan took care of my father until his last days. Had it not been for this doctor my father would have never gone back to see another doctor again. He is who kept my father going. Dr. Dhawan has a huge heart and can’t tell you all enough about him. Yes sometimes it’s frustrating to have to wait for hours just to see him but keep in mind that they are also saving lives at the many other hospitals that they both serve so be patient with them as they are with our parents.
