I'm reporting an incident I witnessed on Monday. I am a vendor that frequents the hospital and was taken aback by the mannerism by a a woman named Darlene. I got her name from one or the staff members. She was very rude and demeaning towards one of her staff members. The lady seemed older and appeared upset by the interaction.

I had a successful surgery in Nov 2021 that went smoothly. Thanks to surgeon Dr. Annamalai and anesthesiologist Dr. Taylor for their excellent work. I appreciate RN Kaye for her humor and skill; it put me at ease going into surgery. Hospital staffs are friendly and professional.

I was at Garfield Medical Center 8/14 to have my covid test. Ive heard that it was painful.but Nurse Cathy Mazorlic was very gentle, did not hurt.Thank You Cathy and thank you to all the Nurses they do.

Well I am writing this a couple of days lateUpdated June 2020 second operation ...The admission process was fast with help from Margaret who made it go wonderfully . Away we went on Tuesday for the procedure ...Christina and Connie took me in early to accommodate my schedule which helped me a lot ,Blanca took me in tow and worked me though the in and outs of getting ready getting the paperwork the doctor needed and tracking down my records, of course there was the rest of the team Kristy and Ann. After drifting off to sleep under the care of a great Anesthesiologist and the OR team,Dr Steve Bae worked his magic and I woke up in recovery under the watchful eyes of the nurses and staff of Recovery. As usual with me it was better that I stay the night, so off to the 4th floor we went. Lily settled me in, and all night long a special nurse; Mary, kept tabs on me to make sure this old man needed for nothing. the next day, Michelle , Edith and CNA Lily took great care of me! Well a guy has got to eat and I thank Vicky, YanYee and the whole dietary team for making me well fed. can you believe a hamburger and fries no less). Of course there are many people that I didn't get to thank that just did their jobs as they do do for everyone that they take care of everyday ... to those I say " A big Thank You , thanks for being there"
