I saw Dr. Stauffer for a surgery I needed. He is a very nice and caring man. The whole office staff is very nice. There aren't many urologists in the area and I was lucky to get in to see him. I highly recommend him!
I had a urological emergency last week and had to go to the ER. I called the office and made an appointment for two days later. It got worse and I had to return to the ER the next day. I called the office to reschedule as I would not be able to make my appointment and was told that his next opening was in September (this is June). As there are four urologists in the office I asked for an appointment to be made with one of the other three. I was told that I could only have an appointment with the urologist I had seen before. I am going to find a new office.
I saw Dr Craig Stauffer Urologist once for frequent night time urination. My experience with him was very unsatisfying and I strongly discourage anyone seeing him for services. He misdiagnosed the fact I have an enlarged prostate, since confirmed by several other physicians. His questions were superficial, not substantive or even relevant to my presenting issue. He was arrogant, dismissive and inattentive. I question his basic competence. His recommendation was to not drink liquids beginning in early evening until morning! His responses to my questions were juvenile, and not properly considered. Do not waste time with this guy.
In the Fall of 2020 I went in for a routine lithotripsy with Dr. Mittakanti. Everything went well and I was released a short time later. Within 2 hours I became gravely ill with sepsis and went into septic shock. It was touch and go for awhile, but Doctors Mittakanti, Jacobson and Stauffer rallied around me and literally pulled me back from the brink. Not only did I receive excellent medical care, but this team of doctors supported me physically and emotionally through all the twists and turns on the road to recovery. I will always be grateful to them for this and I never had any doubt that I was in the most capable hands. Good work fellows! A job well done!
This medical group seems fine in a lot of ways but they are really inefficient about communicate test results and imaging with referral offices. It took me 15 or so calls to them to get results to the office that they referred me to. I think they need to improve their communication systems and follow up on their own request. This caused a delay of several months and a lot of frustrating calls.
My Mom has been at Carmel Hills Care Center for 8 days so far and having therapy each day to learn to walk again after being ill. I am very happy with all the staff and care she is receiving.
If I could give negative stars I would. I was referred to this office after a trip to the ER where they found a stone the size of a jelly bean. I went in and saw Dr. Chan. She said that I would need surgery to remove the stone. After a week she had not sent my referral to the surgeon. I had called 3 times asking when she would do this. I wound up in the ER again as she had not sent the referral. Finally the referral was sent and she seemed to have no concern that I was hospitalized again. Don't go here, don't expect them to do anything in a timely matter. Absolutely awful.
A fantastic front officeDr Stouffer is beyond excellent snd s superb bedside demeanor with sage adviceI would definitely recommend him for sny bladder difficulties
Dr. Jacobson was rude and unhelpful. Most doctors try to understand you, but he didn't even try. The nurse practitioner apologized for his unprofessionalism and that was nice. Dr. Jacobson though clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my case, scrawling down the name of a colleague on a piece of scrap paper before kicking me out of his office.
It was fantastic to see residents and their families sharing a BBQ together. Great team work from staff, students and volunteers who helped seat everyone and served our residents. Thanks for the great food and all the helping hands. Residents had a wonderful time...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
