Catherine Biren's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Biren has no "bed-side manner". She's completely unengaged with her patients. And Ultherapy is a hoax. I went through the process without any beneficial results. Not only did the MD not assess my results, but the technician who performed the procedure was "unavailable". This office couldn't care less about patients or outcomes. Find another provider. Also, the only person making money from this procedure is Christy Brinkley (of course she was paid for her endorsement), and the bogus company who "invented" this treatment.

Went to Dr Biren because she was the only one taking patients during Covid Lockdowns. After waiting more than 2 weeks for biopsy results, she finally cut out squamous cell carcinoma on my calf. She removed a chuck of flesh without employing Mohs technique, pulled tissue together forcefully, sent me home to find sutures burst out during sleep that nite. What a mess and a terribly painful weeks of waiting for this big hole to heal from inside out. Total incompetence and a remarkable disregard for the mess she made. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this woman.

Yes Absolutely The most professional knowledgeable Derm in California . I should know ! I refer her to everyone I know unless you happen to have Ins. they are not contracted with . Well then I feel bad for you . Do the best you can . If not for Dr Biren ,I would have never known my diagnosis . I’ve suffered for 10 years . So if you look ok everyone thinks it’s in your head . I have news for everyone you can feel miserable ,go on disability and live a mediocre life . Dr Biren did something so many physicians don’t do . LISTEN! She may be somewhat serious and get to the point however she hears you and responds .Thank you again for everything Dr. As patients we know are own bodies . We know when something is wrong . Don’t patronize us . Please ! Life is not easy we take what God gives us . What choice do we have ? Pray for more Physcicans like Dr Biren Thank you ??

I needed some spots checked and she ended up finding one I was unaware of smack dab in the middle of my face. Very thorough and knows her stuff.

I hate to leave negative reviews but damn every negative review on this doctor is completely right, she shows no care towards you, she basically speed walked into the room barely looked at my problem and went straight to a diagnosis and left her nurse to do any real work. Regardless of being busy or stressed out or anything you gotta give a shit about your patients and slowly explain to them what's going on. Don't just stand all high and mighty giving out statements and facts because you're a doctor maybe try slowing down and actually giving a fuck about the patient. It might be a stressful job but it's even more stressful to take a day off of work to get a problem checked out and the doctor be as useless as a google search. Shout out to the nurse Helen though she was nice.

Absolutely would highly recommend. Knows what she knows and teaches/provides useful and appropriate input and feedback. Keeps current. Manages a very efficient office staff.

The office is very unprofessional. I was told lab work was sent to the lab via a fax. I called the Doctors office to make sure it was done. I was assured it had been faxed over. When I get to the lab they tell me no fax was received. So now I'm waiting for the office to open, because no one answers the phone during lunch. They wasted hours of my day and this has happen to me before. Go anywhere but here for your dermatologist.
