Daniel Gregory Torba's Online Review Report Card

Been seeing Doctor Torba for 5 years now , he’s a great Dr… Very thorough , compassionate and he has a presence about him where you just feel very comfortable with him. His staff is great and I recommend him 100%

I have never met Dr. Torba and this review is not about his skills as a doctor. It's about the failure of his office and how this was handled. At the end of July 2021 my General doctor retired. He provided to his patients a list of doctors taking patients. I called Dr. Torba's office and told I was accepted as a new patient and to have my medical records transferred to his office. I personally picked up my records and delivered them to Dr. Torba's Ryan Ranch office. Shortly after I called to make an appointment to meet Dr. Torba and was told he didn't do meet and greet. I said i would call end of year to schedule my annual physical which I did end of December. The receptionist for Dr. Torba told me the doctor wasn't taking any new patients. I said I wasn't a new patient in the sense that I was accepted back in August but wouldn't be making an appointment till the end of the year. I was transferred to a supervisor who told me Dr. Torba would call me. I waited a week and Dr. Torba never called. I called back a week later to again be informed that Dr. Torba wasn't taking any new patients but they could refer me to another Dr. in their system. Nobody at the office said you need to make an appointment to secure acceptance as a patient. I generally see a doctor just this once a year to have an annual physical. I suspect the message to call me was never received by Dr. Torba and it was never explained to my satisfaction why they would ask me to transfer my medical records to them if I was not accepted. The mistake was theirs but in the end they just hid behind the doctor is not taking any new patients.

Excellent experience. Dr.torba is my primary physician. Is very caring and thorough with his examination.I'm current with kaiser permanent here in Stockton. But I'm relocating back to Monterey and I'm going to see Dr. Torba again.. He egoh

Dr. Torba is friendly, attentive, and highly intelligent. I met him after a motorcycle accident and have since returned for physicals and other needs. I continue to be pleased to have Dr. Torba as my doctor.

I was seen as a new patient with Dr. Torba and had a couple of concerns. He was not very attentive to my concerns and he was not very informative or knowledgeable to my issues. Seemed like he didn’t care or want to fully examine my condition. The staff was incompetent to the fact they were referring me to doctors that didn’t accept my insurance. I would not recommend Dr. Torba to any friends or family.

Very happy with Dr Troba medical care

Extremely disappointed with my medical visit. While in the patient room, I could hear the doctor speaking with his colleagues for quite awhile on non-business related manner knowing that I was in the room waiting. The visit was okay, I did not feel the doctor cared one bit about what I was saying. This was several months ago, he has never followed up once via email, message etc to see how I am doing.

Dr Torba is a warm, caring person and superb doctor. Very smart and informed. Has called to discuss routine test results, which was totally unexpected.Great office staff for making appointments and managing prescriptions. Highly recommended!
