Dr Crandall is the most gentle caring person. I was in the ER on a holiday and they were able to get a hold of him. He showed up at my hospital bedside at 10:00 that evening and told me he would be able to do surgery on my hand that next day. The surgery went well. At my follow up appointment he was just as professional and informative We are so fortunate to have him in our county. Thank you Dr Crandall for taking sure good care of your patience. Nancy

I would give Dr Crandall six stars if I could. From the moment we first met with him after he looked at the X-rays, he explained exactly what was going on with our son and clearly told us how he would operate in order to fix it. He took great care with our son, answered every question concisely and with compassion. Our son had a very complicated repair since for the 8 weeks prior to finding Dr. Crandall he was misdiagnosed and was truly neglected by three different DO’s in Santa Cruz. Because of this neglect and oversight our sons wrist and arm knitted back incorrectly and would have caused him permanent damage and he would not have full use of his predominant wrist, hand and arm…his right hand. Naturally, we were quite nervous about our son going under general anesthesia and the outcome of this complicated surgery but we know that Dr. Crandall and his team, along with the anesthesiologist did their very best to alleviate those concerns. He put our sons wrist back together and we are so thankful for his thoughtful expertise as well as his caring and compassionate demeanor, he had zero issues with our oh soo many questions re the procedure and recovery. Dr. Grover at CHOMP deserves much credit for directing us to Dr. Crandall and as well, showed so much sympathy for our predicament as well as disbelief in how our Sean had been so neglected. We are so very grateful to this doctor and his team! I highly recommend Dr. Crandall!

Dr. Crandall is very knowledgeable and skilled. He is easy to speak with, explains options thoroughly and is both warm and thoughtful! As a former US Army medical laboratory supervisor, I have met dozens of doctors, and Dr. Crandall is one of the finest.
