So far...so GOOD!! And, finally...pain relief! Dr. Dimitrov was knowledgeable and informative throughout the whole process. His assistant, Irwin kept in touch before and after surgery to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was the total "C" package; Comprehensive, Competent, Caring and Communicative.. I'm fortunate to have found a doctor that provided me with such a positive outcome.

Dr. Dimitrov is amongst the finest doctors I have been helped by. He is friendly, caring, listens and explains everything needed to make a surgical decision and /or provide options. A far better doctor and bedside manner than Dr. Joel Saal, by exponential miles. ;-) A lot of doctors tell you that they are "The Man". Dr. Dimitrov is "THE MAN"!!!

Dr. Dimitrov explained to me exactly the procedure that I needed with a spine model. He answered all my questions and I had many. I plan to have him perform my surgery as soon soon as my primary Doctor gives him the go ahead. I will do another review after my surgery.

Although I had a substantial wait time, nearly an hour beyond my scheduled appointment due to an unforeseen emergency procedure for the patient ahead of me, it was worth it to have the counsel of Dr. Dimitrov. He thoroughly explained my upcoming procedure both verbally and with a model of the spine. He is friendly, forthright and truly connected with me. While he did not unduly push me towards surgery, he used the concrete data of MRI and EMG testing to support his rationale and expertise as to why it was an advisable step. His office team, Erwin, Jessica, Tess and Amy, are also personable and efficient.

Dr. Dimitrov proved to have excellent Surgeon skills and equally important to me is people skills ! Just a quality human who loves his profession! I pray I don't have to have another Microdiscetomy...but if I do Dr. Dimitrov is my first call. I have to mention his entire support team was brilliant including Anesthesiologist! Rocky Maguire

Knowledgeable and seems to put patient health ahead of what might be personal business interest. E.G. Even though Monterey Spine and Health has Physical Therapists and injection specialists, he encouraged me to continue using resources closer to my home.

Dr. Dimitrov successfully treated my lumbar spondylolisthesis with a posterior fusion/PLIF. I asked around prior to this procedure and heard nothing but positive reviews about Dr. Dimitrov from former patients as well as medical staff at local hospitals. This doc is top notch and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to someone who had exhausted non-surgical means and wanted a fix to their problem.

Dr. Dimitrov performed a microdiscectomy on me (31 year old male) and after living with horrible pain for 3 years, I woke up from surgery with the pain gone IMMEDIATELY! Obviously I still had surgical pain, but 2 weeks after my surgery I am walking up to 3 miles no pain whatsoever. Best decision I ever made.

While the wait was quite long, my time spent with Dr. Dimitrov was productive. He has a next step strategy in place...localized injections for relief of pain.
