Geoffrey White's Online Review Report Card

I would not see him as a patient or if your loved one has a serious illness. He’s not thorough and sub par on the latest procedures. I would give him a negative score if I could Negligent, arrogance non caring and inept are how I would describe him as a physician. If the goal is to do no harm as a physician, he is the exact opposite. I won’t give details but let’s just say he Is being reported to the NC medical board and I would sue him for everything he has if I could and covid didn’t affect how lawyers conduct malpractice business these days. The local hospital workers who have dealt with him also aren’t his biggest fans.

Dr. White was on call when my daughter went in ,he never came to her room 4 days she was there got a kidney stone which was in her left tube that 2 other doctors said she would not be able to pass it. She had infection he came by when they were doing her ultrasound first time she met him he says you'll be able to pass it I'll send you home tomorrow maybe you can pass in a week or two I've never been to a hospital where the specialist never shows his face to the patient never introduced itself never came by and never explain nothing what kind of urologist is this

My daughter went Friday to Laurinburg hospital, were the Dr there found she had a UTI, did a CAT scan , he sent her to Moore County, by ambulance diagnosed her with a kidney stone that was 5 mm and said it was trapped in the left tube from the kidney to the bladder well we got there Friday night about 6:20 we haven't seen drwhite yet none of the staff there had anything good to say about drwhite the only time he seen her is when on Sunday they took her to do a ultrasound and he happened to show up there and said that oh you'll be able to pass it I'm going to just going to send you home you'll pass in a week or two the doctor never came to her room never introduced himself we never talk to him we never saw him the only time she saw him was when they were doing the ultrasound and he spoke to her briefly the only doctor that she has seen since she has been there this been coming by every day is Doctor Gibbons which was a very nice doctor sit down and talk to us explain to us and the way he explained to us like the other doctor from Laurinburg it was serious enough that it would not be passing on its own that she needed surgery I am very disappointed and drwhite and I would like a second opinion not to mention that to nurses and a doctor call dr. White several several times for three days he never answered his phone left him messages about my daughter and he never answered or replied after all that I would not want drwhite to do surgery on my daughter he literally ignored the whole situation of her being there from her doctor or nurses never saw the man

Having no knowledge of any of the doctors I could have been assigned. I was pleased I was assigned to Dr. White. I found him friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to about my concerns. He spent as much time with me asking me questions and answering my questions . I would be pleased to continue having him as my doctor and would refer him to anyone that asked.

Advice after my experience with Dr. White: make it clear that communication is important to you - before, during and after your procedure and that you expect to hear from him personally at all the important moments in your treatment.

TERRIBLE.. He performed a ureteroscopy on my 15 yr old daughter and hit only did he fail at removing the kidney stones but he placed but the wrong size stent which gave my daughter excruciating pain, but never came to face us after surgery & failed to prescribe RX after surgery! We had to take our daughter to Duke the next day for them to "redo" the surgery successfully! RN at MRH told us his nickname was mr personality due to his lack of bedside manners ! I filed quality of care complaint !

Dr white is not only the most brilliant, talented urology surgeon in this state, he is just as compassionate.. I was in critical condition with very sick bladder..he stayed the entire day and half the night until I was stable enough to leave my side..I will some day lose my fight with interstitial cystitis.. But he has kept my bladder from being removed far beyond its date. He will make me a pouch from my intestine to keep me alive..please see Dr white..I owe him my life x 20

Dr. White saw my 4 month old son. He was excellent in handling and treating my baby and communicated everything clearly to me. Although the simple procedure seemed that it would be painful, Dr. White was able to be efficient and precise, and my son didn't cry at all. He gave me confidence and reassurance in regards to my concerns. I also had 2 other curious and energetic children in the room, and he was kind and patient with them as well.

I am happy with White. He is so laid back it is unbelievable. I have only had routine prostate examinations and I am happy with him.

He ruined my sons ureter, by ripping it from his kidney in an attempt to retrieve a kidney stone. He did not have the decency to tell us exactly what happened until my son developed peritonitis and nearly died. My son eventually lost his kidney due to Dr Whites negligence. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
