List of Harry Edmond Nervino's Reviews
Great MD! He really cares about the care of his patients and is very thorough.
I am so thankful to have Dr. Nervino as my personal physician. He is so helpful and wonderful all the time and always gives me good advice. And he is close to my work, so it only takes 3 minutes to get to his office.
Dr. Nervino is unusual in that he is conscientious, like the old-fashioned come-to-your-home personal doctor. He did a complete physical exam, explaining the reason for each thing he did step-by-step. He also called me at home in the early evening to go over my blood test results, again test-by-test, explaining what they meant as he went along. What other doctor does that these days? (None that I know of...)

Disappointing experiences each time both with Dr. Nervino and with the office staff. Disorganized to the point of not even knowing whether they had taken my blood pressure or not (thus explaining why it hadn't been entered into my chart .....)

It is difficult to work with a doctor when there is a lack of competence and confidence in his front office. Rather than talk directly with the patient to determine the actual issues at hand the doctor is assuming that his front office is giving or providing him with accurate information. This is a huge strain on the doctor-patient relationship.
I was scheduled for his second appointment of the day (30 min beyond first). When he entered he asked how I was feeling (by that time I had waited 45 min in his office); I told him I was frustrated for the time I had to wait. He replied that he was a very business person and wasn't just drinking coffee. He added that his first patient was 10min late (supposedly to justify my 45 min wait). I found his actions to be discourteous; he could have simply apologized for the wait and/or sent an assistant in to notify me of the delay -- but no, it was my fault for not appreciating that he is a busy person. On other matters, he appears to be very competent and followup is quick. With the exception of this one incident I would rate him with a higher score.

Office now in Ryan Ranch, Monterey. I would highly recommened this office and doctor. Very concerned, helped me with my father and went out of his way to make sure hospital and other specialists were obtained quickly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
