List of Jay S. Edmonds's Reviews
Dr Edmonds is ALWAYS available and interested in helping me stay healthy. He has a great staff, very courteous, professional and friendly!
I have always had thoughtful care from Dr. Edmonds. I believe he changed his practice to the MDVIP model because he wanted to continue spending adequate time with each patient. I decided to pay for the MDVIP service so as to keep him as my doctor. He has always taken the time not only to listen to me and carefully diagnose, but also to explain why he suggests the medications, tests, and lifestyle changes that he thinks good for me. He is big on lifestyle changes, advising patients to exercise and move toward a plant-based diet. This is a preventative approach to health care, which I consider an ethical approach.
I would like to give a shout to Dr's Edmonds and Lee at Ryan Ranch. It is $1,900 per year. Always available for same day emergencies. Never a long wait for normal necessities. At 74, seems like it is not uncommon for something to raise a question. A Quick answer is always comforting. With Medicare and secondary insurance all visits are fully covered financially. Great physical annually included. Care, nutrition, exercise; online tips available. All in all, money well spent. Dr Edmonds was my doctor before concierge and after. The change makes appointments readily available and appointment times less rushed.
Dr. Edmonds is a great doctor who really cares about his patients. The staff is outstanding and takes the time to explain all procedures.
He had been my doctor for several years till he wanted to limit his practice to 100 patients who would paid a large amount of money first before seeing him. I paid but the specialized care was no different than before plus I was annoyed when he wrote up what I had told him from the internet as my diagnosis. I had a serious female issue which he could not diagnosis. So, I found another doctor who got to the root cause of my problem, operated and solved my problem. So glad I did that, I saved my own life. Don't waste your time with him, so disappointing.
Had this man as my GP for a number of years. Was in a neurological dissociative state the entire time I was under his care. I am currently integrating my experiences during this time period of my life as well as the 1970s and 1980s and onward. No social or relational support for the daily ptsd flashbacks from medical harm. The entire society triangulates around the MDs. Victims of medical ptsd and exploitation are abused and shamed. While I still fight for my life everyday with little to no support. Western medicine is a criminally negligent cartel. More ptsd flashbacks tonight. No support from community other than “ move on”. If I could stop the ptsd flashbacks and trauma discharge from my nervous system maybe I would. Sick of taking responsibility for medical negligence and exploitation. Life threatening harm. No one cares. Stay away your life could depend on it. The healthcare system is being weaponized. Control the healthcare system control the people. Criminal negligence and abuse.
Was my GP for a while. I was in a neurological dissociative state the entire time I was seeing him. I had very bad constipation due to the dissociative state. He mocked me and told me “ it was the worst case of constipation he’d ever heard of.” Now 15 years later I got my root causes identified it have ongoing fragmented ptsd flashbacks from this lawless medical cartel. MDs never get root causes and fail to listen . This system endangered my life many times. It’s lawless currently so is the government and its collusion in harming people like me. Back on disability again. Stay away from MDs. They are very aware they can harm you.
I have neglected my health care for way too long. Dr. Edmonds spent so much time with me to find out about my health for the last 10 years. He is the most caring doctor I have ever had. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Penny Myers
Dr Edmonds is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend his services to anyone.
Excellent listener; great explanations; very patient and attentive to detail.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
