Dr. Benner is a surgeon's surgeon. His skilled hands have decades of experience. His communication is clear, direct and in layman terms. I had an emergency Gi surgery so I met him hours before. Lucky for me he was on duty. He visited me every day post-op to explain and answer any questions with genuine empathy. While in the hospital other docs and nurses sang his praises. I have known many surgeons professionally and personally. Dr. Benner is number 1 on the list. I recommend him as the best on the Monterey Peninsula.

Not to overshare, but after a some struggles with diverticulitis, Dr. Benner helped me by suggesting taking the part of the colon causing the issues out. He is the ultimate professional, and did an amazing job. I had several nursing friends tell me how amazing he was, but until you've gotten through it, feel better, and know you're going to be okay, you're never sure. Now I'm sure. If you need surgical, call Dr. Benner. You will not be disappointed. Great Surgeon, Great MD, and Great Human. Thank you Dr. Benner.

Dr Benner is one of the finest surgeons for whom I ever worked. In addition, he took care of my husband. Bob had significant adhesions from previous surgery, and required time consuming surgeryWhile I no longer live in the area, I would consider returning if I had to have any complicated surgery Nancy Paravicini

I totally agree with the other person that gave this douche bag 1 star. I would have given this idiot 0 stars as well. I feel he did not do enough for our beloved sister. This guy should not be a doctor. His license should be revoked. I feel he should be put in chemotherapy chair and fry away. He picks and chooses who he wants to help and cure. After he did our sisters surgery he never had time for her nor her phone calls. You are a sorry ass person benner. You and so called doctor Cunts or Kunts are a Freakin joke!!!!!

Dr. Benner is a wonderful, kind surgeon who saved my life. I had a small bowel obstruction that needed emergency surgery and Dr. Benner performed a flawless operation. I was told that my bowels may have needed a resectioning; however, Dr. Benner was able to fix the obstruction without a resection. I have had multiple surgeries and I have experienced many surgeons who lack bedside manner, or who are just terrible surgeons. My point is this: I trusted Dr. Benner with my life once and I would do it again if I had to. He is an outstanding surgeon and a generous person.

Dr. Jon Benner is a good doctor & surgeon, he was very kind and caring towards my family and I. In my experience, he repaired two hernias that day & did it very well, i highly recommend Dr. Benner.
