The experience Of having Dr Kalle Varav with me helps to understand my pain more, He makes sure we stay current with a strategy for pain management and not let things run wild with a barrage of medications to solve things.

Dr. Varav was able to successfully perform a procedure into my mother's spine which relieved DECADES of pain. He is thorough, accurate and meticulous in his assessment and interventions. The office staff is friendly, but it might take you a couple of weeks because he is in demand.

I have been seeing Dr. Varav for about a year now and find him to be very informative of what type of procedures might be beneficial to my chronic lower back/hip pain. At each appointment, after reviewing the notes on the computer, he then turns his FULL attention to me and we discuss what procedures are available to me. We've talked about implanting a nerve stimulator and epidurals. As long as I am getting relief from the injections, the nerve stimulator remains on the back burner.

I was referred to Dr. Varav for an epidural for extreme lower back pain and I must say that I have never had such an informative appointment before. He took the time to review all of my recent scans and x-rays, and explained to me the exact reasons that I have so much pain and why there is nothing more that can be done other than pain management. I found Dr. Varav very personable, and very clear and concise in all of his information. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

I was wheeled into Dr. Varav's office with the (severe) acute pain in my back. After reviewing my MRI he scheduled me for an epidural within 3 days. I am walking again and will always count on Dr. Varav to be there for me if the need arises again. My name is Kathleen Moore I consider him to one of the best Doctors I have ever been to.
