My worst experience in my life! I had a HORRIBLE experience! I waited over an hour to see him. He was disengaged and uncaring. I question his professionalism and knowledge. I left his office feeling I needed a new provider. Be warned!

This man was my Doctor for almost 20 years. He literally saved my life when I was in my darkest moments. I admit that he is not the most punctual guy, but he's worth the wait. Whoever gave him the reviews of being Rude, Narcissistic, Short, A Pill-Pusher, Etc, obviously needs more help! Dr. Blatt is a, "No-Nonsense," Straight-To-The-Point Type of guy. If you can't handle that, maybe you should find a doctor who will hold your hand and treat you like a baby. I honestly traveled over 3 hours in each direction to see him a couple of times a year to have my meds refilled. If I could give him 10 Stars, I would! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

SCAM!! More than $800 for a half an hour. SCAM!!! Do not become a victim of this fraudster!

Clueless and Unprofessional Dr. Blatt was an hour late for my husband's Zoom appointment (Dr. Blatt only has online appointments) and only spent half an hour with him despite my husband having spent 3 days in a psychiatric ward after a 7 day manic episode and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 with psychosis. He didn't ask about his history of 2 other psychotic episodes. He told my husband he wasn't worried about him, suggested a few books to read and also suggested researching a plant-based diet. I am appalled at the complete lack of professionalism and treatment plan for my husband. Dr. Blatt was his only available doctor because the others are booked until May. This comes as no surprise as I'm sure the other doctors are immensely more capable and professional in comparison to Dr. Blatt. So now my husband is left with no future plan and no resources seeing as there are NO OTHER providers within a 30 mile radius of our home. DO NOT waste your time being "seen" by this so called professional.

What an absolute jerk! I’ve seen Dr blatt about 10 times in total. Each time has been a disaster and completely offputting and upsetting. I have suffered with severe mental health issues for about 10 years due to anhedonia and melancholic MDD depression. I spend about 10 minutes with this jerk in his room, him wearing that Scuba mask breathing heavily to maintain distance. I recommend and ask about new medications that I’ve researched to get a dialogue going between patient and doctor in what might work between the two of us . He claims I’m just pill shopping…it’s beyond ridiculous, you go to a psychiatrist to get opinions of medications. He claims half of the ones I know about he’s never heard of and won’t prescribe. I’ve really never met a psychiatrist as disinterested and offputting at this guy. An knowledgeable psychiatrist would be over the moon if you wanted claimed interest in getting to the bottom of your issues. Not this guy, couldn’t care less and just overall incredibly unpleasant.

I recommend and ask about new medications to try because I have spent time doing the research for these difficult conditions to treat. He doesn’t want to hear it. You know you go to a psychiatrist to get informed of new treatments and share a dialogue and he’s not about either. I’m kinda shocked every time I leave his office. What an unpleasant experience every time.

Dr. Blatt has always been good to me. Yes, you wait, and visits are short. Try to go to another doctor. There are not that many. That is why he is so busy. If you need your hand to be held and a shoulder to cry on, see a social worker or a psychologist. A psychiatrist tries to figure out where you brain is broken chemically and fix it. He does a great job at that. That is what I need. Yes, I did see a psychologist as well years ago. Have not needed one for years and I check in with Dr. Blatt about 2 time a year. He has made my life much more enjoyable.
