List of Peter Franklin's Reviews
While I've only been a patient here for a short time (seeing PA Jennifer Bartley), I have been very impressed with quick scheduling, ease of referral, and helpful, friendly staff.
Dr Franklin and his staff are great and professional.
I have been seeing Dr. Franklin for at least 20 Years. He is an extremely good doctor. Personally not a going to the doctor kind of guy. Dr. Franklin puts me at ease. He has helped me take charge of my own health without being over bearing. He has been a positive influence in my life and my well being. An extremely great guy.
Always friendly and helpful staff. Dr explains the lab rest results. Easy appointments with Nicki.
Dr. Franklin and his entire staff are the bestI have been a patient going on 17 years. Any health issue has always been met with the greatest care concern and respect. One of the most important qualities a physician can have besides his knowledge and expertise is to communicate care and concern and Dr Franklin and his amazing staff goes the extra mile every time
After applying for a job and having a successful interview by the entire staff. I was told I would be hired by the team. I spoke with Nikki, jaine, and peter all personally. They had me, an unemployed medical intern, go get vaccinated, purchase shoes and clothing, and more. I did all this in a single day. The office never got back to me when they said they would (a total of 3 times they didn't call me when they gave me a date and time they would call me). I showed up to the office twice, first to be reconfirmed that I have a job and second to be humiliated and told that I am taking things too fast and that they won't get back to me for a few weeks. After a few weeks past I got an email, no call, stating that I do not fit the requirements. I feel it is important for a medical practice to take people seriously. I am posting this so patients can have further awareness of who they are letting care for their health.
I've been a patient of Dr. Franklin for almost 2 years and I find him to be compassionate and caring towards his patients. He comes prepared to see me and reviews with me the latest lab tests he orders and informs me the areas of concern with my health. He has an excellent bedside manner while conducting his examinations, and I'm grateful not only that I found I great doctor, but I found a wonderful human being who cares about his patients. Remember, there is only so much he can do, the rest is up to us, his patients. As far as the front desk staff concerns, I have had a possitive experience and other matters are just personality issues, but, we all have those. All in all, I'll definitely recommend Dr. Franklin, especially in light of my previuos experiences with other doctors in the Monterey Peninsula area.
Dr. Franklin and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I feel lucky to have him as my new doctor and the support that his staff gives. Dr. Franklin is personable and really easy to talk to. If you're looking for the best quality of care from a wonderful human being, then he's your guy.
I went to this doctor years ago for routine check ups. He was my primary md for a few years. I had some higher cholesterol in my 20s and he told me to get it down. So I did what he said and it dropped to acceptable under 200 and ldl under 130, but he wanted me to keep getting more tests every 3 months and get it lower. Ridiculous.Worse than that, during the time I was seeing him I was getting blood tests every 3 months for a time to monitor things. He screwed up one time and ordered the wrong test! I had to go get another test to get the right one and get more needles in the arm. This guy is always running around so fast that he doesn't take the time to focus on the details. And during a visit, I said I didn't feel like coming back again so soon since my blood work was in a healthy range. He just said "come on guy, it's not that soon" He couldn't even look at the file and see my name.I stopped going and I saw him shopping in town with his wife who had Gucci or other expensive purses and fancy clothing. I guess he's working a lot to keep up with her spending and fashion. It should not be at the expense of your patients and doctors should not add more visits and tests just to have more billing. I do NOT recommend this "guy"
I was referred to Dr. Franklin's practice by a patient of mine. I am a nurse. What a pleasant surprise to find a gentle, kind doctor who is also experienced and smart. He spends time with his patients. He's a good listener and he rarely forgets anything you tell him. The referrals he made for me and my husband were also exceptional specialists. How did I miss this guy for so long? You'll be lucky to have him for your doctor. Dr. Franklin is old school...a doctor you can trust...and that's the most important thing to a nurse.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
