Dr. Penrose performed cateract surgery on both of my eyes. My left eye was considered legally blind before the surgery. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Penrose. It was a very positive and painless experience.

He has done lasik, Cataracts, Annual Visits, Custom Glasses for computer work, and Retina issues for me. Long term relationship; at 74 still enjoying good eyes. All great. The best.

I first saw Dr Penrose 8 yrs ago. He informed me I'd need Cataract removal in my future. 4 months ago he performed surgery on right, left eyes. From initial visit through surgery I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied both with Dr Penrose, Surgery center and his friendly office staff.Upon completion I told Dr Penrose I felt like Deniro in his movie as he awakened from 10 years. I can actually see as I did decades ago.I would highly recommend Dr Penrose to anyone in need of eye care.Monty Lucas.

FROM MY FIRST VISIT TO THE LAST ONE, MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. PENROSE AND HIS STAFF HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. THEY ARE PATIENT AND GENEROUS WITH THEIR TIME, WHEN WE HAD TO CHANGE APPOINTMENTS DUE TO THE COVID VIRUS. WE RESCHEDULED AND I DID BOTH EYES WITHIN TEN DAYS. THE HOSPITAL STAFF THAT ASSISTS IS PATIENT AND KIND, WHILE DR. PENROSE WALKS YOU INTO THE OPERATING ROOM HIMSELF AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THE PROCEDURE IS OVER. THEY FOLLOW UP CLOSELY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS. DR. PENROSE HIMSELF IS A WELL SPOKEN AND GENEROUS MAN, WHO PATIENTLY EXPLAINS ANY QUESTIONS AND IS RELAXED. Dr. Penrose was recommended to me for cataract surgery independently by my optometrist and by a retinal specialist ophthalmologist I had seen for a detached retina. He got me in quickly, explained things clearly, and performed the operations (on both eyes, separated by a couple of weeks) efficiently and obviously very well -- I got 20/20 vision in both eyes the day after my 2nd operation.

I saw Dr. Philip for less than 5 minutes on my eye exam without prescription. It was charged for $249. This is an expensive Doctor!

I trained with Dr. Penrose during residency. He is the epitome of outstanding, courteous physician. I practice in the Midwest and I sent a colleague of mine to him who was on vacation with an ocular problem. Dr. Penrose took care of him with great skill, compassion and solved his problem. Highly recommended with no reservations whatsoever.
