Dr. Hambley is a fabulous doctor. He communicates extremely well on all issues and you feel totally comfortable on all the procedures as he is performing them. All the staff at the facility are super friendly and you just could not expect a better experience. My minor surgery was a breeze because of his skill and the professionalism of the staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hambley for about 9-10 years. I have a persistent actinic keratoses on my lower lip which he has been doing on-going treatments about once each year. He does this to avoid it turning into Squamous, but also to maintain the lip in good condition without surgery. Once, I thought I should have a second opinion because I was concerned about my need to do it yearly. I went to UCSF, one of the best medical centers in the states. I met with their dermatologist as they did a biopsy and they asked who my doctor was in Carmel. When I told them, they laughed as they said he is the best! And, not only that, he teaches them! He also performed a MOHS treatment above my lip which was highly successful. He is kind, caring and gentle. I live in Mexico now and am in hopes to have a teleconference with him for guidance.

Dr. Hambley did a Mohs surgery on my face. It is very difficult to see my scar. He did a great job. I highly recommend him.

i just called dr Richard . for to make a appointment and the receptionist did't know if the dr accept my insurance!!! she did't take a moment to ask the doctor ,.. im very angry because i notice that dr will not do his jobs ... and i will loos my time not recommended at all

Dr. Hambley is an excellent Mohs surgeon; he is thorough, kind and takes the time to explore and explain your options and the potential outcome. I've had four Moh's surgeries, two which Dr. Hambley performed and two others in another area where I had moved for awhile. I had one in Marin county that was so painful and poorly done that I decided to return to Dr. Hambley for the most recent one even though it was a four-hour round trip. His staff is caring and efficient too.
