I saw Dr. Kanak for a sleep study. He was extremely thorough, explaining many conditions in detail. He spent an adequate amount of time with me. My test was negative, but I’ve had positives in the past. He explained that it could be a false negative and specifically wrote in his note that I may need a study at a facility. This was done to make it easier for me to obtain such an appointment. His nurse was excellent with keeping me updated on my case. Scheduling an initial appt took a while.

This man has no personality and no patient-doctor relationship style. He offers no new ideas for treatment; he had me filling out surveys with no consent forms. His staff is not responsive and poorly motivated. Find another doctor.

Dr. Kanak is an excellent doctor, who is gives very good treatment to his patients. I have been treated by him for respiratory illness for over 25 yrs, He is very knowledgeable, and thorough, and discusses treatment options, listens and answers your questions and addresses your concerns with experience and wisdom rarely encountered today. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking excellent medical care.
