I would not recommend Dr. Friedman. Needs to improve his manners with people. His assistant also rude. He did the pushy hard sell on a surgical procedure and gave an eyeglass prescription lacking legibility or completeness.
I have gone to ophthalmologists for 50 years and Dr. Friedman is the worst. He is inconsiderate, rude, and charged me for doing an eye exam without doing one. He stormed out of the office when I asked a question!
Would give zero stars if I could! My family & I will NEVER be returning! First, there is a $100 "refraction fee" on top of the $205 exam fee. That is madness! I've worn glasses for 15 years and contacts for 4 and let me tell you I have never paid more than $90 flat at costco. Just wait, it gets even better! They wanted to charge me an EXTRA $100 for a contact fitting!! What?? That would make my total $405 just for a prescription?! When I asked Friedman about it, he said things like "It's just
I have had great experiences in all my experiences with Dr. Friedman for eye exams, cataract surgery and lasik.
This doctor preys an patients. He charged over $400 for a non-comprehensive eye exam without pupil dilation or eyeglass or contact exam. I've gone to ophthalmologists since 2 yrs of age so I know what an exam is supposed to be. I would give zero stars.
He charged me $400 for an incomplete exam. He didn't do any of the standard tests and never dilated my pupils. I've gone to the eye doctor since I was 18 months old so I know what an eye exam should be. He's a shyster.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
