Roya Javid's Online Review Report Card

I was placed in a room that I believe wasn't properly cleaned. The Doctor also didn't do a very good exam. She has terrible bedside manners. She also rushed to get me out of the office. Billing is terrible and they claim my insurance didn't cover anything. I don't think they even submitted anything to my insurance companies.

I have seen Dr. Javid for several years for skin screenings for potential skin cancer. She and her team are always friendly and professional. She is never rushed and always solicits questions. I am surprised by and skeptical of the negative reviews I have seen above.

I first met Dr. Javid at one of her open houses. I had planned to see Dr. Dannaker for laser treatment - but was told about this new office/Dr. Dr. Javid seemed to be more current and state of the art. She sold us a package that included 3 BBL, Ultra Max, 3 Dermasweeps and 1 Revive Facial. It was pricey, but I was excited because she said that these treatments would even skin tone and tighten up my 62 yr old face. It did even skin tone, but also left me with a burn scar on my jaw and the little bit of tightness disappeared with a dermasweep (older women should avoid these). Dr. Javid was very nice and helpful the night of the open house - but every time I went to the office I felt like I was putting her out. Either she hated her job, or she hated me? After my jaw was not healing and appeared to be burned, she went on the defensive - acting like I had done something to myself. She also acted as though the burn on my jaw was unusual, but there are others who have had the same problem there. Because of the burn I was hesitant to to do my other two dermasweeps until I had completely healed. It has been almost 2 years and I have a scar that is not going away. Foolishly, Dr. Javid has not seen fit to do anything to fix her error - or even admit that she burned me. Several times she has tried to play it off like it just happened. Last time I went to see her she said I had dry skin and offered me a 15% discount on a cream that cost over $100. Today I tried to schedule for one of my two final dermasweeps (admittedly 23 mos. from the start of this fiasco) - and was told that my package had expired. They get to keep almost $200 and get away with scarring me. I will be speaking with an attorney, and hope you save yourself money and anguish by avoiding this office. I am headed back to Dr. Dannaker and am sorry I ever strayed!

Dr. Javid is very knowledgeable and she has great bedside manners. Her office is equipped with the latest lasers and technology so she was able to address and fix my skin concerns, both medical and cosmetic derm issues. I like the convenience of both!

I love it that Dr. Javid can treat my medical skin cancer concerns and that she can keep me looking youthful with cosmetic injections and laser treatments. I want to stay away from surgery with all that downtime for as long as I can. She is friendly, approachable and a very skilled dermatologist.

I highly recommend Dr. Javid. I was diagnosed with Basil Cells Carcinoma which I had to have surgery for. From the first visit I felt very comfortable in her office. She is very professional and really cares about you. I am forever grateful for her and her caring staff.

I went to Dr. Javid office in June 15 2017 for medical treatment. The lasted about 15 mn. and I waited one hour to before she saw me. She didn't even bother to look closely to my face what she didn't diagnose my face properly. All what she cared about to make up profit. She imposed on me that the Vi Peel it will help reducing the appearance of the black spots due to the acne scars that I have on my face and she said that we can do here right away and you will see good results shortly. I saw Dr. Javid about a month ago, she prescribed me some medicine which worked for my symptom may be up to 40%. When the medicine was used... I called her office to know what I should do next. The staff/nurses there told me to make appointment and come again. I said ok, when I went there, Dr. Javid told me I already have a refill in the system and I should simply go and take my refill from the pharmacy. I was so shocked and disappointed to see my time and resources were wasted. The staff is super careless and they have no sympathy towards you patients... they only care for the business. For me it was not easy to make the copay and my insurance got charged as well for no reasons... now who is responsible for my loss??? I guess I have no answer. So I would not recommend this place to anyone based on the negligence and extreme carelessness of the staff

Very impersonal. And the prescription recommended was not available from the supplier. Many phone calls to get this straightened out. Overall, a very medium experience.
