Do NOT waste your time with this doctor! You will wait hours just to get in. And when you do, he is NOT a sympathetic guy! For a pain specialist, if you are suffering, he should understand Tylenol is not going to help for severe pain! I found he doesn’t seem to really listen at all! If you do go ahead and see him, be prepared to be forceful with him. Stand your ground and tell him what YOU want or believe is going on with you or you won’t get the proper care. He’s just too busy, with too many patients to provide proper care otherwise, in my experience. Yet still, I’m baffled why other doctors continue to refer patients to him. I won’t go back.

January of 2021 I had a laminectomy and disc repair surgery to free a impinged nerve. This was performed by another doctor. The operation was initially a complete success for the level 10 pain producing sciatica I had been living with for 20 years. After six months pain started coming back. My neurosurgeon told me my only options were to do nothing or get a revision surgery that had a 50/50 chance of working. I had an epidural once before with no success or symptom relief. So I was doubtful this could work. But Dr Deldar's team and process used new imaging that showed new areas for treatment and the epidural medication was delivered perfectly. I am now 100% pain-free in the treated area for another 6 months. I don't have to have dangerous and risky surgery. Extremely professional organized and responsive practice.

I have 3 herniated discs in my neck that cause uncomfortable, debilitating pain and tightness in my neck and shoulder area when I begin to have flare ups. I had previously been seeing another pain management doctor at Monterey Spine and Joint to treat the chronic pain, but because they are such a huge practice, the visits were always really rushed and I felt as if there was no rapport between me and my doctor. As my last cervical epidural had worn off after 2 years and I began to feel the symptoms of another flare up, I decided to find a new pain management doctor and found Dr. Deldar. Dr. Deldar and his staff are incredible! Working in healthcare, I absolutely appreciate an office with wonderful, kind front office staff and the girls up front are just so delightful. I greatly appreciated Dr. Deldar taking the time to explain what was going on with my neck and showing me my MRI from 2016, which I’d never actually got to see before. He answered my questions without making me feel hurried, and listened to all my concerns. He suggested trigger point injections to address my problem areas before I get another epidural. I had never received trigger point injections, but his nurse practitioner Annette made me feel so comfortable while she did them on me and assured me I would feel relief in a couple days. I am feeling pain free once again and so thankful to have found Dr. Deldar and his wonderful staff!

Dr Deldar has been a lifesaver for me. I have chronic back pain\and he has been able to give me enough relief to be able to maintain a fairly active lifestyle. I have been seeing him for several years. His office staff are very nice and helpful. Since I have to maintain a relationship with him, it is nice to know I am always welcomed with sincere thoughts about how to maintain my pain relief. Right now a back ablation seems to work. I travel in an RV and know it is well worth the trip to see him and receive the best care I can get.

He was my doctor in California. He was compassionate understanding and helpful. His staff was amazing I would highly recommend this practice.

I am deeply grateful for Dr. Deldar's working in finding a solution for my lower back pain That I have had for over 1year. My days consisted of day/night pain. Pain meds did not want to work anymore, Until Dr. Deldar suggested I try the injections on my lower back. And let me tell you, Its's been 1 week and I am PAIN FREE!!!! I feel Fantastic I have so much energy, I have lived with pain for so long that I feel awkward not having pain. I am able to get dressed without any trouble, I am able to go about my day with new problem. I am able to sleep a full night without pain. I will forever be so grateful to Dr.Deldar

I have a back with deteriorating disc disease. I have had 2 fusions. Dr. Deldar has done wonders in reducing my back pain. His care have allowed me to maintain a fairly active lifestyle. He is caring and has a wonderful office staff. Right now an ablation on my back seems to be quite successful. It usually works for up to 6 months. I am so happy to be under his care. He is a wonderful doctor and so happy i found him.

If you are feeling hopeless and that you will be living with unbearable pain for the rest if your life, I can relate. That's where I was when I went to Dr.Deldar limited mobility and sleepless nights from pain and hard days just for basic function. Well I'm happy to say that my pain is being responsibly managed now and feeling alot better about life thanks to Dr. Deldar my mobility us improving by the day and feeling like I can start to enjoy being in my body again ,so don't give up and lose hope it's easy to do as a chronic pain sufferer.
