Dr. Smith had previously helped me with my toenails. When my foot started hurting last week, I was relieved that he had an opening this week. He was glad to answer my questions about repeat ingrown nails and possible causes. He is kind and knowledgeable and I thank him.

I have suffered with bunions for 12 years. As an avid runner, I thought surgery would heal my condition, but the opposite has happened. I exist in a perpetual state of foot pain and am so disappointed. Dr. Scott Smith performed a horribly botched lapiplasty on me. I’m only 24 years old and although I was fully able bodied before the surgery- here we are, two years later, and I am no longer able to even stand up without pain for more than 5 minutes, let alone go for runs or exercise. My foot at the site of the surgery has remained swollen for 2 years. I am in constant pain and running hurts more than ever. Dr. Smith did not listen to what I wanted as a patient and refused to shave down my bunion, and he highly assured me he knew what he was doing. I questioned his strategy and he mansplained consistently that I ”have no medical degree“ so I don’t know what I’m talking about as if I was not raised by two doctors….. I was dealing with pain right after the surgery. At my 6 month checkup Dr. Scott Smith brushed my perpetual swollen foot and pain off like it was nothing. Thanks to him, I have lost my ability to do my favorite activities. I’ve been advised by another doctor that I need to get the hardware removed! But my mom died and no one can take care of me if I get another surgery. He knew of my mom’s condition and that I had no one else when I went under for surgery. Mansplaining and manipulating young women….. he clearly values his “stand up comedy career“ more than his own patients. Please, do yourself a favor and choose another doctor for the bunionectomy procedure- A DOCTOR WHO WILL LISTEN TO YOU AND RESPECT YOU!!!!!! Do not trust Dr. Scott Smith with matters of your body, especially not your surgeries.

This is one doctor I don’t mind seeing!! Dr Smith does a fantastic job of making my feet feel great!

I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment as asked. One of the first appointments of the day and i was still taken in 20 minutes late. That being said, once I was taken back, things went very smoothly and quickly. He was very thorough and the staff was professional.
