List of Shaida Behnam's Reviews
Dr. Behnam is by far the best practitioner I have ever had. She is so kind, gentle and compassionate. You can just tell she truly cares about her patients well-being. She takes the time to hear out all concerns and never rushes her appointments. I can't help but to want to give her a big hug everytime I leave! I love that Dr. Behnam's approach to treating her patients is integrative and holistic. She considers all aspects of mind, body, and spirit when treating patients and always recommends natural remedies before jumping straight to medication. I feel incredibly lucky to have her as my doctor and she is HIGHLY recommended!
I am happy to have dr. Behnam as our family doctor!
I have been Dr. Behnam's patient for well over 10 years. So has been my son. My first experience was when I had a specific problem normally requiring a specialist. She diagnosed it quickly and accurately. She ordered a newly developed test and about a year later I was shocked that a leading local specialist still did not know about this new diagnostic tool. Her range of experience is so wide. She also took care of my chronic conditions and I feel better in many respects than many years ago. At one point, a Stanford professor missed a set of dangerous symptoms but she sent me immediately to ER. I protested. I did not want to go. She insisted, she called me again, and again and I finally went. Her caring saved me not only from serious complications but quite possibly saved my life. I am eternally grateful. She not only cares, but she KNOWS how to care.
Favorite primary doctor by far! so knowledgeable and patient. very caring and listens while paying attention to details. i feel so cared for and heard every time i have to visit. Thank you Dr. Behnam !! <3
I and my permanently disabled son have been with Dr. Behnam for almost 15 years. Although not a urologist or endocrinologist, she told me things which these specialist learned only about a year later (about my prostate and diabetes). She is not only very knowledgeable but supportive, caring, offers help of which I would not even think myself, gives free samples, makes sure that I remember my tests, offered a letter to help me get Covid vaccination. She keeps abreast with scientific developments. She sent me to ER when I had preferred to listen to a Stanford full professor when I was in danger of sepsis and that guy disregarded the symptoms; by which she most probably saved my life or at least prevented permanent damage. GREAT DOCTOR.
After 20+ years with the same Primary Care Physician, I had to find a new one when my insurance changed. I am so relieved and happy that I was able to find a new physician. It’s hard to change something so personal. Dr Benham is very caring and thorough. I feel that I’m getting top notch care with her. Equally important, her staff is knowledgeable and caring as well.
Beware! I barely survived her. She pushes antibiotics and does not listen to he patient.
She is a great doctor and a great person. She always listens to all of my concerns and values my opinions. She is very good at diagnosis and offers a treatment option that works best for me. Her office staff handles refills and other stuff very efficiently.
Doctor Behnam is an outstanding and knowledgeable in her profession. Her right diagnosis have brought peace of mind for us. I can’t thank enough for her care and concerns. Besides, she makes herself available no matter what. Her staffs are very kind and welcoming and the wait is shorter than what you expect. I am very fortunate to have her as our family physician.
I'm glad that many people are happy with their care by Dr. Behnam. However, I had a bad experience. Perhaps she is over-booked and should not be taking new patients. We just moved to the area less than three months ago and had to change health plans. When we got coverage, around October 20, we (my wife and I) called Dr. Behnam's office to make an appointment. We. were told the earliest was for November 27, the day before Thanksgiving. I explained that I was being treated for congestive heart failure due to a-fib and needed a referral to a cardiologist. I was told that I would have to see Dr. Behnam first. I told them that I was running out of my prescription drugs and suggested that she contact the cardiologist who had been treating me under my old plan. Again I was told I would have to see Dr. Behnam first. Fast forward to Nov. 27, two hours before my appointment, I received a call from her office informing me that they would have to re-schedule because she was out sick. The earliest would be Dec. 18. I asked if my wife would have to re-schedule also. I was told that my wife did not have an appointment. I said she did and had been sent a reminder card from their office. Not getting any response, I chose to call another doctor's office and got an appointment for both of us within six days.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
