List of Amir Saffarian's Reviews
Had a health scare, and im glad i saw a Urologist sooner than later. Scheduling was delayed for almost 2 months but luckily i got a cancellation and was able to be seen in the morning (within a week of request). Luckily everything was good with my body. Very pleased with the care i received. It felt maybe a bit rushed, but i was able to understand everything very clearly. I would highly recommend this Urologist, assuming you an get an appointment.
I had prostate reduction surgery in 1918 I felt no pain during exams and after surgery. My recovery was painless and fast! It was done arthroscopicley. He great to talk with. I recomend him everyone!
Spoke to a very RUDE nurse who insisted my PPO COVERAGE was not valid. She also threatened to charge me for all procedures ! This was after I had My Insurance company confirme my valid PPO coverage in a phone call to the Drs office. Horrible experience ! Not sure if Stupidity or incompetence is at practice here, So BEWARE!!
I have been seeing Dr Saffarian for about 8 months and I can honestly say that I have not felt this good and energetic in over 10 years. Through proper guidance and medication I feel great thanks to Dr Saffarian. Dr is very professional but you can get a laugh out of him with some patience. I would rate Dr S. 10 stars. Robert E. 58 year old male.
Has a Penis problem, Amir referenced me to a female dr.I was not comfortable with that so I went to another doctor. Some time later I called for an appointment on another problem, After several days his nurse called me and said Amir had Dismissed me as a patient !!I will never call him again, and would recommend against hi.
Overall I am happy with the doctors service here. All my needs where satisfied. He knows what he is doing and very honest. I had to wait a bit longer than usual few times but I know some people take more time with a doctor and holding everyone back. I would definitely recommend this doctor to my friends. Cheers!
So first off the doctor here is professional, however, unconcerned with me as a patient. I mentioned urinary issues at night and was told "it might be just in your head." Imagine going to a doctor and being told, you're just making it up. You would think, a doctor would try to understand, evaluate, and figure out what is causing an issue rather than "well the quick 5 minute eval I gave you didn't show anything glaring, so maybe it might be in your head."However, I was determined to continue seeing the doctor (which I should not have). About a month later, I did not receive any confirmation that there was an upcoming appointment, and I did not click or answer the front staff that I was able to make it. So instead, they charge me $25 for missing the appointment. You might think "hey, a first time no show, and they didn't respond confirming they could make it, maybe cut them a break." Not this doctor.Read all the other negative reviews of this guy, they all say the same thing. That he tells people "don't worry about it" or "this is normal" or "it might be psychological." I'm not sure about everyone else, but having a doctor interaction where you're told that something affecting your health is a nothingburger is extremely disheartening. After this review I will see about contacting the California Medical Board about a complaint, because after finding out I am not alone, I would like to help someone else avoid this hurt.Do yourself a favor... avoid this guy. There are PLENTY more doctors that are concerned with patient health than this guy.
On the day of my appointment, my dad had to wait more than an hour. There were a lot of patients inside. I don't know why they just made everyone wait for so long if they had appointments. If they knew that it was really busy, they should've called and tell us about the delay or options to reschedule.
Thanks to Dr Saffarian 🙌 . My wife and I are having our first child.
So far so good. My primary doctor recommended him. He knows his stuff. He’s not the talkative type. He is thorough.. My first appt I might have waited 5 to 10 minutes, but the day of my procedure, I waited 50 minutes. Next time before I make the 35 minute drive, I’m going to call and find out what kind of daily there is. He is a 4.75 star rating, but the delay knocks it down overall. I’d give him a 4.5 rating.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
